Question - Change from Craftsman to Fighter

I accidentally chose Craftsman when I meant to choose Fighter, because I forgot which character I was playing for a moment. Is there any way to change this, or must I re-create my character?

Nothing is set except your attributes. A chain helmet and old dagger won't make a world of difference. You still have money to buy some weapons or things from other players.

Thank you. I wasn't sure if it was like a set-forever thing or if you could simply pick up items and change. Still learning the ropes.
