The note is made out of other notes, so nobody can tell who wrote it

Hello

I have taken the person named Quinasa, to get her back you must follow my demands to the letter.

First - I have also taken a halfling and caste a spell on him so he will do as I command, if you follow my commands you will save two lives and not just one.

The Halfling- He does not know where I am located, only where the girl is, If anybody tampers with him, he will forget the location of the girl and she will starve to death. Or get killed by scorpions. Nobody wants that.

Demands

10 Ignots
2 Crucibles
2 Pairs of Hunting armor
2 Pairs of Leggings
2 Twin Daggers
5 pairs of trousers
2 pairs of boots
5 pairs of cloaks
5 pairs of shirts
1 bags

The Clothes, weapons, armor, and tools will be deliverd to the halfling at the Bee Hives. If this is done the elfess will recieve food, if it isnt she will starve to death.

The Ignots Due Friday, Will also be given at the Bee Hives, at this time the elfess will be freed, with directions, On how to get back to trollsbane

Any Tamperment with the halfling or trying to follow him will result in me killing the elfess and the halfling as well

The First drop will be made in a few hours please have everything ready for my slave to pick up.

This Drop will consist of

2 Crucibles
2 Pairs of Hunting armor
2 Pairs of Leggings
2 Twin Daggers
5 pairs of trousers
2 pairs of boots
5 pairs of cloaks
5 pairs of shirts
1 bags

Again I would like to remind you, do not tamper with the halfling or try to follow him, or death will surely meet both him and the elven girl

The drop will be done in 7 hours at the bee hives, please have all the items in the bag, and be ready to pass them over, to the halfling

Again I say again once the drop is done do not follow the halfling or both him and the elven girl will be killed

FOOLS!!

I ask for something and I expect to get it. But no you dont give me what I want, then send a human to follow my halfling!! I should kill the elven girl now and stop wasting my time. But I figure you all are poor so I shall make new demands and maybe this time YOU CAN REACH THEM. If you dont you will never find the girl again.

The Demands are as follows

50 Arrows
1 Long Bow
1 Hunting Armor / I will also accept chain mail
2 pants
3 Cloaks
250 Coins
1 Leggings

Get these to me, or your elven girl will die, and the halfling as well

Pendar stands before the town wall and reads over the note one more time before sitting slowly and penning a message. Wiping his eyes vigirously he attempts to shake of the fatigue of the day.Slowly and thoughtfully he begins to write.

Sonja, No doubt you will slink into town to make amends to your demands as you see fit after todays failure.
How ever your over eagerness has not profited you, the economic state of the isle currently means that a ransom of todays magnitude alone would take time, let alone 10 ingots.
How ever rest assured your obscene ransom demands are not beyond me to obtain. Yet I will not barter with your mute halfling, restor his wits enough to speak to me posses him and talk to me I care not. Words are indeed cheap but for all I know you may have killed the lady allready.Perhaps you have not walked the north lately but the coffers are empty and place in disrepair you picked the wrong time and target, all is not lost I feel obliged to see her safe. Yet I fear you are stuck dealing with me.
I also warn you take care of her well for this is an island and you will not be leaveing it until the lady is back with us, No hole will hide you should harm befall her.
I will await your responce so we can set up another meeting time and place for this drop.
You may also stick messages under my door, I am not hard to find.

I recommend you to accept this offer, because more you will never get. Simply because the people aren't rich enough and are not able to gather more.

As I have no way to reach you this note will have to do. As per our agreement I wish to meet, some agreement must be reached as I am unlightly to hand over a kings ransom on your mere word of the ladys return.
You know how to reach perhaps you will let me know a way to reach you, Either way let us end this at speed

Hmmm, It seems my first ransom demands are reasonable so, Instead of just continuing with my recent updated demands I will of course be adding some of my older ones on as well.

The first half will be made today, and the second half will be made today as well if all goes well.

First half of the drop

1 Crucible
1 Hunting Armor
2 Cloaks
2 Ignots
2 Advanced Daggers
25 Arrows

The Second Half of the drop will be

3 Ignots
25 Arrows
1 Hunting Armor
1 Long Bow

As agreed the first half of payment, then my halfling slave will retrieve the elf girl, then the final trade off will be made with me handing over the elven girl, and getting the second drop in return. I expect all will go well
