In the library...

Post by Saidagon »

((open RP))

Someone giggled impishly, prancing like a mischievous child through the narrow passageways between the numerous bookshelves of the library in Troll's Bane. The figure paused before a dusty old tome which had a word grafted upon it, distinctly resembling "Magick".

The figure paused abruptly, tilting his head curiously, and then brushing a strand of bright blonde hair from his youthful face. A pair of green eyes pierced out from between pale fair skin and some other thin strands of long blond hair as he stared at the book in awe. The eyes were a sickening color, almost white, however they still distantly reminded of a deep sea green as their focus wandered over the book's cover.

A curious, slender hand peeked out from a furry old cloak and nabbed the tip of the book's spine, upon which he began to lightly peel off the book's cover with the sound of tearing paper and ancient glue, and shed a cloud of dust, causing the youth to cough loudly through the library's somber silence. The hand had retracted to cover his mouth, but then a giggle came out from the youth and he continued to recklessly peel the back of the book's cover off from the book, marveling at its decrepit state and enjoying the minor amount of destruction he was wreaking upon it.

He ceased the moment he thought to have heard a noise from within the library, and the book's cover flapped down, hanging loosely from a single last thread that held it to its bindings. Saidagon coughed because of yet more dust hailing from the old tome.

A soft, but loud cracking sound of the wooden column frames somewhere above at the ceiling was the first sign of attracting attention.

Before he realized that his proned position had been hopelessly compromised, the cloud of dust from the recently violated tome has made its way into his nostrils.

-Haaaaaaa-chhh huuuua! - a loud sneeze came out, and Kenny's body jerked in a spasm, which made the tiny rope he was holding slip from the wooden plank onto the other side of the supporting column, and threw him off balance.

Kenny tried to resume his position, by forcefully spreading his legs, and pressing them against two parallel bars, holding on them, but soon his legs gave in, and he went off flying down from the library ceiling. Luckily, a side of his robe flew onto a decorartive spike on the candelabra, and amarthized his fall.

"Crrrrrzhhhh!" - a sound of torn cloth echoes in the library hall, as he appears right behind the youthful man's shoulder.

Hanging down on a torn side of his own coat, stuck on a decorative candelabra, upside down, with his one hand hopelessly jammed in a tightly stretched coat, and his eyes slowly getting red with blood flowing to his head, Kenny, a dyed sunlight-blonde gray-eyed young man, seeming to be in his late twenties, rubs his nose, and stretches his hand in a friendy wave.
