Can't add old character to account

I tried adding two old ones. One worked, the other did not.

I don't know if it's any help, but you're going to have to reassign attributes one way or the other, whether you transfer them or not, and enter a description. So bottom line, since everything is wiped anyway, you could just make the one that's not working from scratch.

Seems to me they're pretty fast to activate, these days.

I tried adding another one. Here is what happened, with this one and the first one i tired.
I went add put in the information, then it said that the character was added, but it did not show up on the account page, so i tried again, but the second time it tell me that there is no character with that name found.

I had the same problem with two characters I tried to add from days passed. Cain and Alun. So I just recreated them both. I figure, they're gonna be just as skilled anyway

Oddly, I'm waiting on account confirmation. This situation all around is damn confusing.

Very confusing.

I made a new character, and i think it was confirmed in less than an hour, amazing! Used to take several days.

I have the same problem. i tried to add Brodir and Paidraig to my account. they asked for name and password, after that the accountsysthem said "ok". but i wasn't able to find my two old characters in my accountarea. And trieng again to get them into my account gives me the message that there aren't characters with that names. And starting the game with the character name and password says me the same.

it is like the two characters got erased.

p.s. the same happened now with my character "Kl'urk" again..that isn't funny...really

i am using windows 2000 professional. And mozilla firefox 0.9.3

oh, by the way. every time i click on the link to the accountarea i get a grey window were i have to write my accountname and password down. i am doing it, and clicking okay, just a few seconds later the same window appears again. everytime i am entering my name and password the windows appears again, it don't stop until i press "abort". thats really annoying

Maybe upgrade your Firefox? I have a MUCH newer version.

Same thing happened to me.

I added Serpardum, said it added it, wasn't in list, so I created new.

Went to add Paelen Stubbleknee, same thing, said it added it, wasn't in list. Guess I gotta create him new again too.

Ich kann meinen Char (Jeron Giandor) leider auch nicht hinzufügen. Angeblich gibt es ihn nicht. Außerdem habe ich auch keine möglichkeit mit Firefox 1.03 oder Explorer unter Win XP mit ner McAfeeFirewall euer Accountsystem zu benutzen. Da funzt nix.

Das Problem hatte ich auch mit einem meiner Chars. Das könnte am Passwort liegen. Wenn das länger als neun Zechen war sind die letzten nicht in der Datenbank. Versuche nur die ersten neun Zeichen einzugeben.

I had the same issue with one of mine. Just recreate the char from scratch. It seems some bug deletes the old char entry but doesn't create a new one...

I've had a similar problem, all of my chars are gone. When I tried adding them it says "error: No character found". I can't even create a new character cause all I get when I log onto my account is the two links for adding old characters and for answering the rpg questions. Thats it

There was an issue with passwords on the old server. The database would cut any password which was longer then nine characters. So if you want to add an old character and your password was longer then just enter the first nine characters into the form.

My password is fine. I think it is because I originally tried to add with IE. and it didn't work, so I changed over to firefox and tried, now my character is gone. Neither Ie nor Firefox work and they give me the error.

If no character found than there is no character with those names. Create the character new.

Not every old character is taken into the new database.

I was told that chars which names were changed sometime couldn't be added anymore to the new accounts. I don't know whether that is right, but it may be a reason too.
