The Investigation

Tall and lean Garett made his way to the onion ball field where Derinoar Fallvictor stood near a fireside. Garett's face was intense, he was doing something now he couldn't turn back from.
The plain truth was the town guard was in danger of falling to pieces. Garett knew he was not the best or strongest guard, but he also knew if Durin and Callith were more like him the guard would not be accused of so much abuse.
"Derinoar, tell me all that happened." Garett said firmly.

Derinoar looks at the elf and nods... in the back of his head he isnt quite sure why the guard actually came to him.. but he takes this moment, and makes the best of it

Aye.... I walk in to town after being away for quite awhile. I'm well aware that i was baned but i return to see what the current state of the town was, to see if I was still baned. As I reached the area infornt of the shop. I saw the same as allways a dwarf which I quickly found out was a guard yelling at a orc and threating to ban form town. At first I thought it was a normal case of the orc fighting but no....

looks a the elf for a second

This guard was threating to throw out and kill the orc for words... words that form i heard were nothing more than name calling... the orc was threating to burn it all down.. or kill everyone. Simply orcish name calling "Ommie" "Stummpie" all that good stuff. The dwarf began pushing the orc out of town and drawing his axe at this point I rasied my voice and said to the towns people around.

" This dwarf is threating to kill the orc for her words.. what happens if I kill the dwarf for his actions?"

At this point the elf Callith appeared form no where and said

" You wont have to worrie about that becuase I shall rip you eye balls out before you can!"

Callith and i went in to a stare down as The dwarf took off his uniform and went after the orc as a "Off duty dwarf"...

I followed to talk to the dwarf and show him the error in his "rightous" ways... Callith followed me. I will admit the tone of my and posture of my body voice must have seemed threating... Callith pushed for a fight with as did the dwarf.

However I truly wasnt in the mood.

Upon taking in this information Garett nodded said thank you and walked off. He was now off to find Fooser. And ask him the same question, he just hoped he could find and finish this investigation before the town meeting began.

Fooser walks along the street and notices Garret walking toward him...

Garett makes a beeline straight for Fooser. The lizard and the elf had enjoyed each other's company in the past, hopefully Fooser would not judge Garett for being associated with Durin.

"I bet you know why I come to you with such a serious face. Tell me all that you saw Durin and Callith doing today, and if you can what they have done in the past when there were not other guards near them." Garett says this his blonde hair tied into a ponytail out of his face.

"The man was drunk, annoying, and in a bad mood apparently. He was pressing on the wrong things with Callith, Lennier, and whoever else. They were angry and impatient with him, they threw threats at him every other sentence. I got sick of it and walked into the shop for a while. When I came back out, I saw the girl take an unused axe, and cut herself with it, then leave the axe with the dead corpse, apparently to make it seem like he attacked someone. In truth he had no weapon that I saw. Then Callith turned to the girl and said 'That wasn't needed', or something like that. This got the point across to me. I then wondered about Pendar, and was told he was interrogating someone at the cross. Sure enough he was there, badly injured. I dont know if it was the girl, Callith, or Pendar. I don't want to think it was Pend, but I don't know. No matter how you look at it, they did something ill, either killing, covering up, or both."

He continues with another story.

"Turonga, she never went for a weapon. The halfling Rello saw this incident as well. You might want to find Turonga and him sometime. Callith stated that Turonga was ambushing and attacking, but she was only running from the dwarf. She was cut down right in the open, does that sound like an ambush to you?"

"No, no it does not." Garett lets out a long sigh. He had never thought Durin would get this bad.
"Thank you for your time Fooser. I will now go in such of the halfling Rello."

Garett walks down the street asking people if they know of a halfling named Rello and where to find him.[/i]
