@Moathia: For some reason that file ended up an xyz file and I guess you can't read it for whatever reason, although I haven't encounter that problem myself or with anyone else. Go into the folder called Backdrop and try to rename or change the lunar0008.xyz into a PNG file (or find someone who knows about xyz cause you probably can't just rename it into PNG) and see if that works. If not, then PM me your MSN and I'll just give you something to bypass random battles later.
@cjauncey: I would have just restarted and not gone inside the murder house if I were you. (You are not supposed to be able to go inside that house normally by the way). That bug might have changed some switches and variables but if you're ok now, that' fine. By the way I noticed you're using the screwy font. I think I know where the problem is: You went inside the murder house during the sidequest but gave up and left right?
@sean: You mean if you come back with another party right? This doesn't stop your Galadira party from leaving the forest right? I think I know what the problem is: You took the "bulbsponge" option, right?
Really busy right now folks. Will address other issues later. Thanks.
I played a little bit of the game now...and I love it...it is funny to see characters there which you know from the real Illarion. Why isnt there a lizard in Illarion who asks me if he can change anything, for stopping the lag?
Uh and I like the little Gannon *giggles* And brendan is cute
<breaks Oath again> Dyluck, how is skill gained in battle distributed to characters? Does it depend on character usage, or does it divide equally? Or does each character gain that amount of exp. points shown on the victory panel (it triples) ?
</breaks Oath again>
I think the trial of courage is the closest thing to impossible i've ever done. Mostly because of the game controls. There has got to be some kind of cheat.
Has anyone actually made it to the end yet, nevermind getting there first?
EACH person gets that set amount of exp shown at the end of battle. Nothing makes any difference, except maybe if a character is dead at the end of a battle.
Trial Of Courage: Just move a little slower and just tap the key gently when you near the edges. Or just compensate by say pressing the next key for the turn a step earlier before you reach it each time. Some people are already in chapter 4, so that little game can't be unbeatable. In an earlier version this minigame was even HARDER and some people got through it no problem and 1 person took forever. I guess some people are just good drivers while some just aren't meant to be on the road.
By the way, if anyone else has reached the underground liar in Chapter 4, please let me know whether or not you have the same random battle backdrop problem as Moathia.
I am in dungeon in Chapter 4 (and no I won't spill out how win the Trial of Courage, unless I see some PMs coming), but I don't get the concept of what has to be done? Open all the thingies?
btw the whole chapter 4 is coooool! Scary!!!! Dyluck, you need help. You're a very sick sick man.
Dax lvl 25 fully equipped = murder machine.

The whole thing wouldn't be so hard if your char wouldn't over step soooooo much. She's always running off the edge even after i am clearly not pushing the arrows anymore.
Dyluck, all my mages learnt paralyze, but I cannot cast it, it's not present on the list.
Is this a bug or a good old Easter Egg, based on the controversy in Illarion about mages using "paralyze"? If it's intended, then I am laughing my ass off.
