I'm begginning to think that this whole thing with the sever change could have been planed and organized better ahead of times by the gms. Not that i am putting it all on them, it was probably just overlooked.
I disagree. As martin said way back in the beginning of this flash flood of "discussions", it was a lose-lose situation for them. On one hand, some people will already be frustrated that they lose all skills and items. On the other that Illarion already has so many different cerebral people playing it, that the diversity of opinions on how to continue roleplaying post-wipe will go miles wide apart. I don't really see anything to blame them for in that, it's not their job to lead our discussions when they leave us complete freedom to decide over how we play.

I mean that back a while ago they could have laid out the options for opproaching the wipe, and what each option would imply. Have some organized discusions, illustrate the pros and cons of each, and then have a poll. At least that's what i would have done.

Now is a good a time as any for a wipe. The economy is a bit messed up right now because of all the changes in crafting, there are still old characters with very high skills from the 10X days, and the game needs a clean up anyway. Plus we'll be getting a new server, and new features. And I'm sure starting out will be a little easier this time, as we'll proably start with something better than a shovel and hammer.

I might just have a character up for hire for kicking some butt if you want to.

Ahem, though, this thread was meant as a voting thread however, not for discussing, and I'd like to suggest setting up a new vote.

/edit: I'm posting it in a seperate thread, these discussions are already far beyond hopeless to overview already. ;)

I think this is a thread for voting your opinion not stating it. There are plenty of other threads to do that.. So stop writing more then your vote.
