Well I noticed a big problem today, when you have been killed and you go to get ressurected at the cross a zombie might follow you... I was actually killed 3 times by this and it wasn't so fun.. I mean shouldn't monsters like burn up at the cross? Well otherwise Í think that should be done, because it seems very hard to get out of such a situation, without help.
however, if they cannot move onto the tile at all, would work... Or you could make the spaces around the cross unattackable, just like at the jail.. you cannot attack..
But, you shouldn't go onto the cross if theres a mummie right next to it. -
Well obviously, but how many times has a mummy strayed or should I say been brought into the town and killed somebody near the cross they have to go to the one in town or go on the long trek to the other two. but that mummy is still right there
Erm.. Everyone has this problem, and this isn't the firest time to be proposed... deal with it. If you have to get revied that second, run as soon as you are revived...
I think the monster movement should be slower. Sometimes, it's absolutely impossible to get away from monsters once they catch you on the other side of the screen. Nothing wrong with giving a character a fair chance of running away if they don't desire to kill the thing.
I was thinking about how it would seem reasonable for monsters, especially undead like the mummies, to shrivel up/burn to ashes in a writhing mass/fall over and fertilize the flowers. However, you would then have to think about the fact that there will be players who take advantage of this--->
*character lures mummy, lures mummy, lures mummy*
*mummy dies at cross*
*character giggles to himself and gathers up the goodies left over by the mummy*.
You could make it so that mummies that died from holy-cross-burnination didn't drop any goodies at all. And on the new map it can be made so that no monsters normally occupy an area near the 'main' cross.
IF you are killed and there are mummies on the cross, just logg out for about an hour or so. More than likely the problem will be solved, if not...just wait until tomorrow to play.
i think in the new version if they include open and closing doors you could make say a small fence around the cross and a path leading to a safer part of town, until then i don't think u can do much except get help or run.
