Irania sits down by the millstone and opens a book, just as she did had earlier. I'll read until he shows up. She thinks to herself and flips to the page she left off at last.

The bard nods to his wife and smiles.
"If you are up for it my dear, I am fine as well"
Cliu's face turns stern for a moment and he leans in to Yvicka. Pulling out a small book, he stares at her in a most serious way and asks
"Is it possible, for you to tell me...my future?"
The old lady grinned mischeviously and affirmed.
"Why yes...yes it is. What have you got there?"
The witch had looked at the small black book that was twisting in his fists. He wringed it back and forth and watched it.
"It is my works, I was hoping if you could see some signifigance"
She held out her hand and motioned him to hand the book over.
"Let me see" she spoke as she flipped through the pages "Quite a lot you have 'ere. Yes, a wide diversity too, of styles that is. Although your tone is redundant...might want to change that" she grinned once more and kept reading.
"I am not here for retorts" Cliu said sternly "or criticism".
Yvicka laughed with a hint of resentment.
"Yes, I know. It is proven through your writings. Ah!" She placed her crinkled finger on her page. "Here is something different, yes...remorse. Seems you are becoming troubled, but this is not why you are here. Your last poem..." Flips near the back fo the book close to the end, " it suggests otherwise. Come here lad...let me whisper what you desire"
The hag leans in and looks to his wife. A raspy whisper can be heard only faintly audible. Cliu leans back and strokes his chin in thought.
"I concluded that, but is there...anything I can do to hinder it?" he asked.
"Possibly, but you didn't seem so warm to me now...why should I tell you?"

Cliu looks reassuringly to Irania.
"It is fine dear, do not waste your time with worry"
The young man went back to Yvicka and began to speak
"I am truly sorry miss. You know I am vexed on this, I beg you to help me now"
The witch scratch her chin and handed him back his book.
"There may be something, a change...yes a change. You know what you need to do though, I have read it. Without this change, you shall be doomed to the fate just laid out"
The husband looked to his wife and said,
"Anymore questions dear?"
