Tournament! - Duels to DEATH

Im planning on arranging a tournament. It costs 2-5 silver ingots for joing the contest and the winner gets them all. Ingots will be collected before the tournament( I can arrange that someone else hold the money during the tournament if you think um untrustable).

The duels.

The duels it to death. A system so that 2 shield mages somehow will be prevented maybe will be invented(Feel free to come with proposals). And one rule that is kinda obvious for having a fair duel is, no paralyzing spells.

(Posted this post before but somehow it disappeared)

Feel free to come with any ideas. Probably forgot to tell something cause im in a hurry right now.

I'll see if I can show up. However, since I'm in North America and your night time or Afternoon time, it's actually time I'm at school. If you guys manage to work a good time out like 5:00 AM ~ 7:00 AM GMT-8:00 time, I'll be happy to show up. However, since I've already lost my silver and skills from Astyanax and Relena, I'll mostlikely lose the match on round 2 or 3... :( oh well. Then there's Terri. After the incident I had with Trokker today, I'm pretty much a fresh out newbie with all runes except "lev" and a really good healer. That won't do. So I'll see what I can slap together before the tournament. If I can't do much, then thats too bad.

History shows that Jocas once tried to start a boxing championship and Raziel of the Shadowen Empire tried a World's Strongest Championship, so i guess its only fitting that another "evil" guild leader tries to start another fighting tournament, and it seems the participation fee is higher than ever

In my opinion, such death tournaments usually attracts more renegade fighters and blood thirsty mercenary types rather than honourable knights and mages (i'm not saying anyone who participates are bad people

), so good luck trying to enforce rules that you cannot see like "no 2 shields" or "no potions"

Just one question, why no paralyze spells? A paralyze spell is part of a good mage's arsenal as is most of his other spells, and shouldn't the best competitor have to defend all the mage's spells as well as he can parry someone's weapons? I think no paralyze spells would just "even out the odds" for druids more than it would determine who is really the "strongest" competitor in the tournament.

Dyluck lets say you and I duel. I shot paralyze on you twice in a row.
Paralyze, ice bolt, paralyze, ice bolt, paralyze, ice bolt, paralyze, ice bolt.
Then you are dead. I think most of the fighters will agree to this. And, 2 shield mages.. hmm..
Really dont know what to do with them...
If im fighting a druid, he cant win if I use 2 shields, and that is NOT fun!

Neikidogg, acting like Thoer? Think im the strongest? Making a tournament like this to get fights, would never ever come in Thoers mind (I think).

And the participation fee, if you are willing to pay more you win more.

The time or day isnt decided yet, first I want to know who is intrested.
Just tell me here if you are, tell it clearly and no "maybe" or "if".

Maybe its better if you make a tournament to make different tournament
one tournament for fighters also without magic
and one for mages. then its better for all.....

The combatant who is "strong" wouldn't be affected by the paralyze spell

As i mentioned, Jocas tried to start a boxing championship, and that's an old character of Thoer that got banned.

Ok, lets change it like this since your all complaining about my fair rules.
Screw the druids, 2 shield mages is allowed. And Paralyze spells.

There is only one rule, 2 men in, 1 man out.

The tournament will be named Frotrak, after a historic happening.

Joining fee is 3 silver ingots, the winner gets them all.

Saturday, 3 a clock. (Thats 9 in the morning for you Astyanax, or something near that if you live on the east coast of america (or was it the west cost?))

Pay before the contest, enter the arena and fight. If you win, you get 3 ingots X the number of fighters.

(Still looking for people that gives ideas without complaining about the existing)

Its on SATURDAY.

The arena will be made in the desert if everything works as it should.
Just need some people to carry some chests there.
I wonder if the Bloodskulls or Ironhammer want to join the tournament?
Probably there will be alot of people from the Bloodskulls.. Since they like to fight!

Some people I want to come there, Gurok, Kzarak, Leif, Caranthir, maybe any soul of thoer?
Also, Grey Rose members, please come and fight!
And EVERYONE else!

If alot of people come im sure there will be a great tournament.

TOURNAMENT IN ONE HOUR!

Duels to death, if you die in a duel, your out of the tournament.
Joinging fee is 3 silver ingots. The winner get all fighters money.

It was a good fight Tal and admitting your defeat shows much honor.

But I'm sad that only a few people were interested in the tournament. Duells are actually a lot of fun and although you should never think with you sword, fighting is an important part in every knight's life.
To die with honor is as good as to win with honor. When my days are over and Malachin asks me what I have done in my life, I hope I can tell him the story of my life without fearing to be denied by him.

I've seen the fight,it was quit funny!But,leif has had a good chance,but the damn laag!But,Next tournament i'm maybe in,but i'm not sure!i have to fight for Zelphia!GLORY FOR THE GODESS!!!
