My Belongings

Post by Derick »

Oh people of town,
Heed my warnings. Return to me what is rightfully mine, and no blood shall be shed.

But, until you return my wand to me, which the so called "guard" Garett has unrightfully taken from me, one person shall die each day.

Each day you will hear of another person dieing, because the guards failed to give up a single wand. Let them be known as greedy thieves.

Give me my wand, and noone shall get hurt.

You have one day before the killings will begin.

Dear Assasin,

As I informed you the day I took your wand from you, if you behaved yourself you would get it back. However this threat has put you back to square one. And perhaps the time I keep it will be longer now.

Give him the Wand Garett.I think this is the only way to protect the inhabitants of trollsbane-which is Actually your job.
Otherwise i would be interested to buy it-for giving it back to the assasin.

That doesn't mean i like or even accept what the assasin does, but i don't want anyone to get hurt.

A wise person, Farel.

And he is right - your job is protecting, not getting your own selfish revenge.

The first killing will be very soon indeed.

You may blame your guard.

Wiergraf is apparently angered by the assasin's last post

You kill Miraci, now you die. Me find you and kill you, no matter if in town or not.

You may try your hardest to do so.

The second killing will come soon if you do not return my wand to me.

This message was obviously written by someone who is not overly good in writing, but sounds like it was dictated by someone else.

I hope you take special care in who you select for your victims, dear "assas(s)in". Else your life soon might be worth less then the dirt under my feet.

Signed,
A citizen.

You can never catch me. I am good at disguise, and quite good with my profession.

Again, i tell you. Return my wand, and no more blood shall be shed.

Maybe we consider to lay your magic wand on your grave. Oh ... wrong ... there is nothing what we could lay in a grave for you if we get you. And be sure. We will get you.

I do not know this situation, so I probably have no say in this matter, but I will say it anyway:

Give him his wand, you damned ninnies. I don't care if he is a thief, an assassin, or a coward, it still does not justify the death of innocents caused by your spite.

Giving back his wand would make him more dangerous. He is an assasin, to think that giving his wand to save innocents in the present would keep those same innocents safe in the future would be called short sightedness.
He won't get his wand back and I will hunt him.

Not one who kills for money. Without his primary weapon he cannot make money. And with his primary weapon would he not be a greater threat then he is now? Would you enjoy my decision of giving him the wand if he was hired to kill you with it?

He can cast on me whether he has a wand or not. You are giving him more incentive then he needs.

Garett,
I am much more rich than you are.

I could afford one yes, assuming i could find a seller.

Yet, my old wand came from the old mages of the west tower, and i dearly miss it. I want it back of course.

So no, it is not replaceable.
It is your own stupid fault people die.

Assasin, I know your name but i only call dogs I like by a name.
Know this much as you have now acted on your threat and harmed an innocent in this.I assure you that your wand will never been seen again.
You are welcome to come and try and get it from me at any time though,
As you aware I have offered you many invitations.
You think by harming a friend of mine to bend me or any one to your designs, you killed before you lost the wand, you will kill wand or no. Like a rabbid beast with no compassion or reason you strike as it ammuses you.
As one must with a rabbid dog time comes to dispatch it. So stop your awful yapping it plays on my nerves and come face me. Let me put an end to your servitude for i think i am begging to know your nature.

A simple statement is posted on a torn parchment next to the rest. The message lacks respect and the name is not fully signed.

I never did find much use for the town guard. They always seemed so fervent on stopping "what could happen in the future" that they never really realized what is happening right before their eyes. It is a shame.

You have absoludly no clue, Cain. It is a shame.

The assassin would be even more powerful with his wand, everyone who sees this is right. Giving him his weapon back will only make him stop for one days or two, but later he will just continue killing in a more dangerous way.

At least then, Town Guardsman John, you would have a reason to completely remove him from being a viable threat by killing him, or sentencing him to long-term prison as the case may turn out to be. You cannot change a murderer by taking away his weapon. It is like a true art for these kinds of people. You take away their tools of performance, they will find others.

Yours,
