A night in prison

[Ceigan Ibatha]

Ceigan leaned up against the shop's wall next to Durin grinning. Durin didn't pay a great deal of attention to him, so Ceigan entered Eliza's shop. He went up the stairs to the second floor:

"Demons! Hellfire and demons spawning in the shop!"

An elf named Callith ran up the stairs and looked around.

"Where are they?" The elf responded.

Ceigan continued to run around screaming until Durin arrived. Durin caught Ceigan by the arms and held him down.

"Wha's all this trouble 'bout?!" Durin spat

Callith took the handle of his weapon and bluntly hit Ceigan on the back of his head. He fell onto Durin in a slightly bloody heap. After discussing what to do with Ceigan they decided to let him go. Just then he started to regain consciousness.

"Demons and elves and evil dwarves! Everywhere! Help!" Ceigan screamed while running around.

Ceigan was finally stopped when he accidently fell into one of the walls. He passed out again. This time once he awoke he was lead to the Grey Rose Castle.

"I get to have this castle?!" Ceigan exclaimed as he followed Durin closely.

"Aye." He responded leading him downstairs.

They both walked to a cell in the basement and locked Ceigan in.

"A wonderful bedroom!" He yelled as he giggled.

An elf peered at him through one of the windows curiously.


"Do you like FIRE!?" Ceigan asked the elf through the window.

"No." Responded the elf.

"Well, I DO!" Ceigan screamed.

Ceigan then waved his staff and a fire emerged setting the cell ablaze. Durin heard the yelling and came back down. The fire slowly died out and Durin returned the giggling Ceigan back to the cell grumbling.

Ceigan looked around the cell and soon got bored. He began throwing books around the cell wildly. Soon after he looked at the fireplace smiling. He creeped over to it and looked up. He could see up to the roof of the basement. He began a slow crawl out of the cell scraping his already bruised body. After reaching the top he fell off onto the top of the cell, and rolled out into the fountain on the ground. Giggling, Soaked, covered black from ash, and bruised, Ceigan stumbled out of the castle and back towards the the dark town slowly disappearing into the night.
