enchanted swords....
Maybe there could be a branch of magic where mages could cast a spell on a sword to make it enchanted with a certain element...or a druid could pour a certain solvent on it... thought they would have to work with the blacksmith, maybe only have a limited time to enchant it after its smithed?

Well i think after we got the system where the items got a "live" and you can't store 10345 Plates in your depot cause they will rust under your..well you know
. How you think you could implete master quality items..give the smiths some more things to show like there could be "bags" where you select if you wanna make a low quality item or high ..hmm maybe than a master, who always uses low quality can't make a good high tool/weapon. I think we just should wait what our staff is already doing.

My idea was that you would add Master quality versions of items to the item tables. When an item is crafted an extra check would be made to see if the item made was normal or master quality. Using a similar basis to the current crafting system where the better your skill the better the chance of creating a master level item.
Breakage could be done by expanding the item table to include a breakage variable. Then the code changed so when an item is used instead of using a straight 1% chance of breakage the routine interrogates the table to find the items chance of breaking and use that. Obviously this does not mean every individual hammer, etc. will be different. All hammers will use the same tabkle entry, but it would mean that buckets could break less often than hammers for example.
That was the idea. Its up to the staff to decide what, if anything, to do with it.

What about axes, shields, daggers etc. Won't this give swords more of an advantage over other weapons? I think so, and as some races use different weapons it's only fair that they can have enchanted weapons too. Even though the fireaxe is already available, it's way to expensive compared with fireswords
