I am Miraci Ruhn, but in the game simply Miraci. I was wondering if anyone is willing to be my master and protector during my training days until I am well-equiped to live on my own. I need a master who is willing to help me through small quests so I can take on bigger ones, and be able to kill large creatures.
PS: In case this isnt the place to post this kind of thing, bear in mind that I'm an ultra noob.
Is there anyone willing to help me train? And one other thing, what does #me mean?

Well i don't want to say you can't play some nice rp, but we aren't DIablo..our quests aren't " go to place x, wait some minutes and kill y much monster" thats not rp we are playing like well ... like a medieval town and like persons and bad persons, wow what a description. Well when you want, I can help you making the first steps.. I don't will equip you with stuff nor I will train with you for hours. But i can teach you some basics for the game.Miraci Ruhn wrote: I need a master who is willing to help me through small quests so I can take on bigger ones, and be able to kill large creatures.
"#me" is the part of roleplaying ..the #me function is for roleplaying like a rune for a mage. With #me you describe what your character does but beware our chars can't read minds so an little example.
#me laughs will give you = Miraci laughs. Thats the easy part now to the "mindreading" part.
#me thinks Nikagor is stupid= (like above ) Miraci thinks Nikagor is stupid, but my character isn't a mindreader so i , as player, can't react very good on it much better is:
#me mutters to himself "this dirty little rat from a halfling".. thats something i can play on..like you are in RL you too mumbel things to yourself or even say it loud, but please stay logical and something other, when you interact with other people don't force them like:
#me stabs Nikagor and sees him dropping death
better version:
#me tries to stab Nikagor , it seems he wants kill him .(really?

Always let the other player time to interact, when you are an assasin and you hided and so on I would let your Char "kill" me always depends on which what people you play. For more questions please send me a pm.
One more thing, it isn't neccesary to win, but to keep in touch with style.

By typing #me ACTION you can create messages like "Miraci draws his sword." or simply "Miraci nods". This way, you can roleplay anything that is not supported by the current client.
One easy way to find a master (we encourage this way to start the game) is to go ingame and get in touch with the peoples of Illarion. Via the boards, you never know if your master will keep his word.
By the way: Becoming the strongest and best skilled is not that effective in Illarion. If you really get in trouble, the only thing that will really help you is friendship. 5 friends can outnumber any threat that might arise.

Yes, I see. I am trying to keep it Mideaval and whatnot, and as a matter of fact, I've never played Diablo (whatever that is). The doing quests and killing monsters part are not connected to each other. I need to be able to defend myself should I be attacked. Thanks anyway, keep posting if you can help me.
Estralis, though I do agree that roleplaying is more important, and should be focused on, I must disagree with that closing sentence. Are five noobs who just met each other because they first logged in near the same time going to be able to fight a strong warrior who has played for years and has some of the best equipment?
