Killer sheeps?

Post by Bror »

A friend of mine told me a story yesterday at the "Fluffy sheep tavern". We had a hard working day and sat there for several hours and a lot of beer, when he suddenly had a flashback of what happened last night (he tried hard to get that memory from his mind). He worked the whole day on his acre, keeping care of his grain and went to the tavern in the dusk. He walked for half an hour with his scythe on his back. He was singing a happy song and drinking from a large bottle of rum. Suddenly he stoped singing. He could see the torches in front of the tavern at the end of the street, but something was strange. He could hear the noises of sheep from that direction: "Meee Meee". But some other noise could be heard. It sounded like a person in his last battle.
My friend droped his scythe and backpack and started to run like the wind, heading for his home.
The day after we heard about a missing child. When we walked past the tavern, we could swear the sheeps had a red color in their wool beneath their mouth. Their voice sounded like they were laughing about us....

Killer sheeps?

Yes, there are some killer sheep around, i think. They are infected with some illness that makes them wild. The only exception is fluffy, he is encased, and my experimental potions seemed to make him resistant against the sheep madness. By the way, fluffy always has a little blood in the fur, because he likes meat. I feed him with dead spiders and sometimes a beholder or two. And, fluffy can be very agressive, but that is pure tavern protection. I surely heard about the missing child, and i have trained fluffy to fend off several mad sheep attacks.  He is very useful against rowdies, too - he is trained to go directly to the throat. So stay away from fluffy's encasement, he can be a little agressive. In the moment, while the bar walls are damaged, i have put him into a training cellar.

I think its their mating seson... i used a fine-crafted whool cape when i suddenlly
heard the mating call from the sheeps...
or it just could be a regular roar...
i could have stayed to watch if he killed me... but i didnt want to take the risk of getting raped...
did anyone noticed they seem bigger and meaner?
