Walking back from Northerot, Fooser encounters both Dolgan and strange floating skulls that continue to appear all around them. Dozens and dozens kept approaching, they killed as many as possible, but there were just too many, including trolls. The skulls floated about hitting the two, and injuring them. Unfortunately, the skulls were only part of the strange attack.
Later, Hermie, Fooser, Kasume, and Sideon move toward the eastern forest, where ogres seemed to have been attacking the forest and the trolls. They all fight the ogres and other creatures that are about, while Sideon healed. After slaying some of the ogres, the group encounters a troll that is different from the others. It was not as aggressive as the others, and had a primative way of communication and thinking.
They all followed the troll around the eastern forest, then it moved across the ground, past the sheep into the southern forest, where it stopped and carved out a club. They asked questions of the troll, but it only responded with noises and grunts. Then he left, and they followed a second time, and the troll eventually eluded their vision. They all stood in the middle of the forest, tired and a little confused of the happening. From a bush two eyes glared, and launched items out, in a thanking manner, then dissapeared.
On the way back, the forest was infested with insects, poisoning those who encountered them. Near the front gate of the town, there were many more than in the forest.
"Gah"
A needle pricks into the lizards back. He begins feeling dizzy, he walks past all the action in front of the gate toward the glass oven in the front of the town. He begins to cough up some blood, then falls over, his helmet flying off of his head, along with his rusty chain armor that did little to help him. A few moments later he wakes up, mostly naked, and wanders around a bit, still thinking about the troll, the helmet, the ogres, and his injuries.
He looks down, wearing only short pants.
"Err, I go through armor and clothing quicker than apples!"
He continues to wander around angrily.
The odd troll

The events as Hermie perceived:
Hermie had been busy in the iron mines, but he had been attacked by strange winged insects in the cave. He later hires a local man to mine for him. After striking a deal Hermie leaves the shop and notices the Elf known as Vilarion pulling what appears to be a steel hat from a flower.
"It fell from the sky!" Vilarion declared.
Hermie and Kasume looked curiously at the item before searching inside the shop. They came out to ponder the event when a loud roar was heard through town.
After running to the East gate they saw an Ogre enter town, the group attacked in turns, as they healed between injuries, until the beast finally fell to a deadly precise blow from Kasume's fierce blade. Reaching down Kasume pulled a very strange looking helm from the corpse.
"I've never seen one of those before.." Remarked Hermie.
The group could not tell the origin of the mysterious helmet as it was not made by the hand of any known mortal or Elf of the isle.
There was little time to talk further as more roars were heard, rushing out of the Eastern gate, Kasume, Hermie and Vilarion saw Fooser attacking demonic skulls. The group engaged, fighting the strange beings to death. They fought Ogre after Ogre till they were led to the Troll Forest where the Trolls were fighting the Ogres. The party assisted the Trolls and soon were scouring the forests for the remaining invaders.
After the Ogres were defeated, the party encountered one of the Forest Trolls who they had fought beside, they asked it questions in vein as the beast was rather shy and not very talkative, instead it began to carve something out of wood. The ogre finished what he was making placed the finished club next to Hermie. Hermie lent down to pick it up when they noticed the Troll was running away.
They followed curiously, only to loose the Troll amongst the dense trees of the forest. Some strange looking helmets were bunched on the floor where the Troll had been, the same helmets as Kasume had taken from the felled Ogre at the East Gate. Each of the group took one and returned to town where they fought more demonic, floating skulls and large, strange flying insects till town was once again quiet. Hermie went to the shop to clean his wounds before finding a comfy spot to retire for the night.
