backwards monsters - ?

Post by Gurok »

maybe I have just noticed this but I dont think so, I think its new.  For some reason the monsters, when following you, turn their backs to you.  They actually turn around when chasing you, it slows the chase down considerabley.  Well I just thought I should point this out but I'm sure you already know it.  Thanks.

reason may be that somewhere near stands another person who draws the monster's attention where you cannot see him.

no thats not the problem, unless I am being followed by invisible people all the time.  The monsters take a step, turn to face north, then follow me another step, turn north, take another step towards me... etc etc.  I have noticed this with the Trolls and the demons, im not sure about the rott worm because it's round, but it does seem to pause after each step.

Also i have noticed I can no longer shove them, and occasionally when
I attack them the little X's appear on a different space then the one the monster
is on.

The one where the X's appear on a different square than the monster is because you are moving at the same time as the monster and it is caused by lagginess of the screen rather than a bug.

I've noticed aswell that when I push a monster, it appears to remain in the same place on he screen, but it actually has moved to where you have tried to put it. Then if you attack the monster at the place where it is visible on your screen (ie the place it was before you moved it) the crosses will appear where the monster should be. This never used to happen though.
