Greetings to all citizens of Trollsbane:
I am yet another cantidate for the triumvirat, not with high hopes of winning, but in my opinion, the more cantidates and ideas that are out there, the better. Anyways, anyone can say "I can make ______ better", but what about "how" it can be done? Here are a few personal idea's to possibly improve things:
Security in/around Trollsbane
Security should be an issue thought about and touched upon by all.
1. First idea is some form of group of volunteer citizens outside of the towns walls, to handle business that occurs out there. Why do something like that? Because many unfortunate incidences happen outside of the town, as well as inside. Some would say that the town has no jurasdiction outside of the town, they might be right, but just because it is outside of town, dosen't mean innocent citizens should be abandoned when traveling, or gathering resources. In short, it is like a patrol outside of town, to answer the calls of help of people in need.
2. Some sort of fund for contributions/donations to the town guards. They use their own time to secure the town, and much of their healing supplies and weapon repairs probably come out of their personal money(correct me if I'm wrong). Anyways, it would be a way to help them out in whatever way we can.
3. Tighter watch around the gates, maybe put extra people to watch over it, because sometimes people who aren't suppose to be inside, get inside, and end up causing trouble in some cases.
Trade and Business
1. For increased trade, a more organized and active "market" type area for trading and other transactions.
2. More support for merchant guilds, and for the SMACC council/pricing as well.
Town maintenance
1. Buildings within the town are not in bad condition, but some of them could use some touch-ups. Possibly some system for contributions and fund-raising could be made to pay for materials and labor to fix-up any problems within the buildings appearance and/or structure.
Activities
1. Possibly a group inside of town to organize and fund activities for the town, to liven things up a bit. This would be done with volunteers and donations also.
There is a handful of topics for now. My deepest thanks to the leaders of this new and flexible system, giving citizens the option to run and vote. I recommend all take the opportunity to vote, for whoever you think is best.

Ideas
It is times like this that I wish I could vote.
I agree we need more security all around in and out of town.
But I also know that the Guards and Grey Rose have literally saved my, and many others, lives on many occassions and that I very much appreciate the fine job they do in keping peace and order in the town as well as protecting it from trolls and such. Unfortunatly they are over worked and underappreciated. I help with potions when I can.
I bow to them all, with respect and gratitude.
Next I like many of these ideas and I have others ofr you as well.
Regarding entertainment and such, I have already done some of these things myself and they were much fun, other are ideas I think could be helpfull.
Contests for the following, Fishing contest, foot racing, sewing contests, bake-off contests, lumberjack skills(log moving or such), farming contests, (such as biggest cabbage or sweetes onions), throwing contests, lifting contests, small wood boat making and reacing in the river contests, kite flying, best smithing, fastest gem cutting, archery contests, music contests,and any other trades who wish to compete peer to peer. Also a "Market Day" would be a nice way for folks to gather, trade, and "meet their neighbors", so to speak. It would be good for the economy and it would be good for diplomatic relations as well.
