After Alora and Galim found Karmane in the shop, trading with peoples who are not interested in townrules, he offered resistance to her peaceful try to grab him and arrest him. So weapons were used and Karmane felt soon. After Rand tried to help Karmane and attacked Alora, Galim was sure that this town was full of fools and criminals.

As Alora made her rounds of the town, her ears amazed her once again. Was that Karmane's voice she heard inside the shop. She entered to see him yet again surrounded by townsfolk. She had learned the night before with Mia that people feared this man and would just be nice to him so he would go away, Moathia had also believed this tactic, well, she was not going to let this happen again.
She had chased him the prior night and he hid in the shadows and Alora had lost sight of him. She knew of his secret powers of wrapping his cloak about him and dissappearing. So this time she ran right to him and attempted to grab him, without any vocal warning she was pushed back. She charged forward and attacked. From behind her she heard mumbling of prayers. She also felt a pain in her side. She spun her head to the left after landing the death blow on Karmane to realize that Rand was attacking her also. Rand was thrown into prison and Karmane spirit floated away.

Rand was thrown into prison and Karmane spirit floated away.
Gerhalt approaches the wall, grins slightly, then uses a small crude dagger to affix a note on the wall.

I want to be added to your 'Death List.' I believe the guards have been doing their duty faithfully, and anything they have done to you was entirely warranted. I was there in town, and what happened to you was only your just punishment. However, when I am added, I expect two things:
A. To be at the top of the list.
B. To recieve complimentary items for joining, such as (but not limited to) cakes, pies, wine (no beer), and other delicious edibles.
I expect that all good citizens will, along with me, want to be on this foolish list.
