How do you add threads to other topics? - If you do not want

As you can probably tell from the title I am wondering how to add threads to other topics. I saw something about role-playing guides way back in the main board. I thought... why don't I add a thread to this so people know about the guides but I did not know how to do it so I didn't. This is not neccesary and I did not know where to place this so I put it here. (Hope I got it right). I just hope I can use this ability in the future.

You want an old thread come back to the first page?
Just write an answer to it like to any thread. But be aware, that an old post can confuse people

so you better write a new one saying "there was this thread on 21.4.2001 about blabla" and add a link to the old post.

changing threads from one board to others can only the boardadmin or the board moderator....
