Freezing , and then dropping out.. - uhh? why?

i have problem in playing illarion rigth now , i often just freeze and the drop out of the server..
havent happened to me before..
maybe its my crappy modem (56k) ...but i doubt that it aint my computer (1.2ghz , win Me , 128 ram , 32-mb 3Dcard)

what could be the reason ?...i mean never happned on my 333 mhz old comp...
its really disturbing my playing..
i cant play too much because of that , log in -> few minutes -> freeze & drop out -> log in -> few minutes -> freeze & dropout...

could you help me?

If it is just happening recently, it is the crappy internet connection we have this weekend.
