A door of a tailor shop opens after three knocks.
A distorted smile greets the lady tailor at the desk.
-How can I help you, mister...?
-Carvert. I would like to make an order for a pair of black pants.
-Ah, very well, sir. I have a few in stock.
-I need a very special model.
-Oh?
-I would need to have twelve pockets.
-Pants with twelve pockets?
-Yes. Let me see a pair.
The lady gets a pair of black pants, and the man points to the spots on the cloth and explains.
-I would like to have two sidepockets, two on the buttocks on each side, and two at each knee, two at the shins, and two at the ankles. And also, I would like a hidden inside pocket right here... and right here... long and narrow.
-Hm, what a complicated design!
-I am a complicated man.
The customer smiles.
-What will it cost me?
-Well, I ... since this will take me an hour or two to finish and adjust to your size...
-Just tell me the price.
-Well, 190 gold coins.
The man puts a gold ingot on the table.
-Please, keep the change, and make it silk, please.
-Oh, thank you, sir!
-My pleasure.
-What was your name?
But the man is gone.
Ah, damn, I almost forgot...
A market salesman greets a customer who just came over.
-Good day, sir!
-Greetings. I would like to buy a bag of your strawberries.
-Surely, here you go, sir...

After visiting numerous merchants to purchase numerous items, a small framed figure carries several bags containing these items to a table in a secluded building.
"Preparation isss the key to ssuccesss..."
He takes several forms of herbs and bottles, and begins to work them to a fine powder, then mixes them. When finished with herbology, several clankings of metal tools can be heard from around. There he sits, three hours, ready to progress in his trade.

An hour before dawn.
Leaves softly crunch under his feet. His coat lies on the grass.
His feet are bare, touching the soft green carpet, enjoying the feeling of the morning dew.
He came to see her. She is sleeping. Not smiling in her sleep. She is just calmly sleeping. Still covered with the blanket, as he left her yesterday evening.
His beloved. The woman he loves. He stares at her, as always, with his hollow empty gray eyes, stares like it's the first and the last time he sees her.
Like a miracle created and whithering away.
He kneels beside her, with absolutely no sound, and puts a bowl of her favourite berries to her head, along with a flask of wine, a flask of fresh apple juice, and a flask of water.
He leans over her to feel her breath with his cool skin. He gently kisses her on her hair, inhaling the smell of it, she doesn't notice. He tries not to breathe, not to wake her up with his cold air.
He puts a flower of night angel blossom in her hair, and steps away.
He turns around, away from her. He walks forward, leaving her behind his back, and picks up his overcoat. He takes his bag quickly over his shoulder, he walks faster, and his eyes change, and his face changes.
His face becomes emotionless and concentrated.
He looks into one spot on the horizon, like hypnotized by some spell, his eyes are still, but his fingers move along his outfit in a fast, dexterous, manner.
Clicks something in his sleeve.
Checks his pockets.
Adjusts his belt.
Runs his hands over his black silk shirt and feels two leather dagger holsters on his chest.
Ready.
He puts on his coat and hides his head inside his hood.
Leaving her behind, he walks to the North.
"I will be back soon"

Konstantin stands at the entrance and pets his hawk.
-Dermott, if I do not return in an hour, you know what to do.
The hawk flies up, and Konstantin enters.
...
The hot breath of the smelly air travelled back and forth inside the cave tunnel. No underground wind. Just a warm breeze... it feels like you're inside of someone's giant smelly throat.
The smell of dry blood.
"I recognize this smell a mile away..."
The smell of rotting human flesh.
Step. After step. After step.
Konstantin, hooded, with a torch in his hand, moved slowly deeper and deeper into the tunnels.
Bats. Noises. Noises, like someone's gigantic stomach sickness.
Cave walls and ceiling made of black-gray stone with a shiny red gleaming. The floor is soft, spongy, like a giant tongue or a layer of moss.
Konstantin goes down, deeper, and lower, to the bottom of a tunnel and stands in a room-like opening with several paths. A crossroads.
At this time...
"I know they are watching me"
Konstantin's eyes squint and look to his sides. His lips tighten for a moment and move slightly up to his nose.
-I know you can hear me!!
The cave is silent. If you can call it silence. Bats fly and flap their wings, and the stomach digestion sounds embrace the air from all directions.
Konstantin stands in the middle of the cave with a torch in his hand, and the warm smell of bloody guts enters his lungs insolently.
-Hello! I have a deal for you!
A sound of digestion smoothly grows and becomes something more of a belching sound.
-I have come to make a deal! I have an offer!
Roar! The cave walls shake, and a red sparkle runs through the stony surface. The roar is so loud, as if this huge monster of a cave - had just woke up.
-ARE. YOU. HUMAN. - flies out of all the crossroad entrances.
Konstantin shouts:
-Yes!... No!... Yes! I am more a human than anything else! I have a deal for...
-ARE. YOU. MORTAL.
-Yes, I am definitely mortal!
-THE DEMONS. DO NOT MAKE DEALS. WITH MORTALS.
-Hey, that's not true!
-YOUR KIND ARE FLESH OF THE LAND.
-OUR KIND ARE FLESH EATER.
-Wait, no! That's a story for kids! I am a...
-THIS IS OUR WORLD.
-IN HERE YOU ARE MEAT.
-Huh?
Out of the darkness of every tunnel, roll out cracked human skulls.
Konstantin jumps up to avoid the skulls, and looks at every one of them. Six or seven skulls. Rolled out of six or seven cave tunnels.
Konstantin gets distracted by a scorpion, crawling out of the skull's eye.
"I think I just made a mistake"
Before he thinks that, a huge, horned, jagged, sharp red arm with four long claws, flies into his chest and impales him, throwing him into the backwall. Like a rock, like a spear, like a wagon at high speed rolling down the hill.
And hitting him in the chest, and cutting through his ribs, and making him fly.
-A-a!!! Aaah... Oh sh...
Konstantin sits up against the wall, quickly, his body shakes and wiggles, he drops the torch, shadows jump on the walls.
Before his guts fall out and before too much blood is lost, he drinks three strong healing potions, and pours a few flasks on his wound, half a chest in diameter. Light spreads around him and his wound quickly dissolves and heals at maximum speed of druid magic.
His eyes light up from energy. They light up gray.
"Holy shite... so much for making a deal. And this is only one claw..."
A cave wall in front of Konstantin breaks down, and a huge Creature walks forward, through the falling rocks.
A Creature with horns, spikes, and scales all over the flaming red body, with chains on its neck, and red hot iron braces on its hands, with teeth as big as a human rib, drooling with blood and exhaling hot stinky air.
Konstantin's mouth drops open. He quickly wiggles his feet, like a bug, looking up, trying to get up. With shaking fingers he whips out two signature SilverDaggers, crossing them in front of his face.
The Daemon stands in front of him in the darkness, searching for his victim with evil eyes. Hot saliva drops on the floor with a hissing sound.
It is only at this moment - Konstantin realizes that the Creature cannot see him.

"You don't have much time! You are needed somewhere! Get up and go!"
Konstantin hears this in his head. His own thoughts, or maybe someone else's. A message.
For some reason he looks at this daggers, and at his hands. They are clearly visible to him, but the Daemon keeps looking around the cave blindly. He shuts off his mind, blocking all reactions to pain.
For some reason at this second Konstantin thinks of a woman. The lips. The breast. The desire.
Life!
"Go, get up, quickly, get out of here!"
Konstantin puts his daggers away, gets up and starts running, he runs up, out of the roaring mouth of the cave, up the spongy stairs.
The Creature had gained sight, it starts chasing him.
"Damn it. So much for making my deal. Oh well, not all beginnings have a successful finish."
Konstantin speeds up, and loses the creature out of sight in the tunnels.
With god's help he makes it to the surface.
He motions his hawk to fly away as far as possible, and flees himself.
