Cant start illarion.exe

hey, guys...ive just installed illarion, have directx 8, but when starting the exe, all i get is a black screen with lines running across screens. Any suggestions?

Hmm, only start the exe from its directory. Since there is no stuff installed in your system directory, you must start it from there (Start->Execute-> <path\illarion.exe>)

additionally following:

- playing under Win95 is not possible
- the game needs a resolution of 1024x768 in 65536 colors
