A troop of angry Ogres

Ah... time to check on my crops, not too good of a harvest - mumbled Konstantin, kicking the dry wheat among the wasteland field.

- I seriously need to clear this field again to make the soil fertile...

Along comes Athian Corulas.
Konstantin greets him with a smile across his scarred face.
The two start a philosophical talk, like always in the old days...

Suddenly!...

Warrior instincts kick in inside both of them.

Wind...

Konstantin tenses and grabs hold of his dagger handles.

Flash!...

Athian concentrates and gets ready for action.

Sound!...
Explosions, fire spells, ice bolts - magic strikes cover the small plain where the two are standing.

Friends come closer together. They stand back to back.
The fire warlock and the dagger master.

They look around as they see a platoon of Ogres crawling out of everywhere!

An ambush!

20 angry Ogres with clubs and maces storm the castle ruins and the little restored Northerot garden-town.

The battle begins. Sylan, Sian, Irania, and a few orcs gather up in the vicinity.

Several casualties.

Konstantin commands everyone to evacuate, and jumps out of a pile of three ogres surrounding him. He retreats into the desert.

Athian climbs the castle roof and performs a stunning jump down into the middle of enemy croud.

Athian and Konstantin retreat to regroup and scatter the enemy around.
Before too long they make up a battle strategy and become the center of action. Athian throws fireballs around right and left, becoming a living firework of explosions, while Konstantin disassembles Ogres' guts with his daggerblades.

Sian takes out a few ogres at the flanks in the desert with his axe.

The mountains and the desert were checked after the battle properly, but there is still a chance that a few lonely ogres roam the forest.

Please, be cautious, citizens.

There is a possibility of a child victim. If anyone finds a dead or injured girl - please report to the walls or talk to Irania.

The ogres had banded and organized in the cellars of Darlok's castle. Thanks go out to the brave warriors Mahiem, Gorge, Kruuba, Grutok, Cedric, and Zanthe the lizard. But the big thanks go out to Gorge and Mahiem, who wiped out the biggest part of the horde underneath the castle.

If you in town believe this has nothing to do with you, the bands of ogres Athian and Karmane dispatched were headed south.

I know because I was simply digging in the desert, when a big gust of wind picked up and sprayed me with sand, revealing two of the ugly monsters in front of me. They were marching south as well. And the more I encountered, the more obvious they were trying to secure some terrain.

Beware, people of the island, leaving town has become a most dangerous feat.

Yub, me come to Darlok old castle and find lots of big smelly dum dums down der. Me killed dem, while Mahiem ran around distractin' dem. Udders helped too.

Sounds like a ferocious battle indeed. Perhaps work of Prancing Red Troll of Power.

It is Magenta!! Not red!!

This certainly does sound like his work though.

It can be either Thurik! I refer to it at Red at times, and Magenta the other. It's true color isn't officially known.
