Taking up the Priesthood

Many times throughout my life I have come to places where only the hands of an almighty have saved me. I have seen troubles throughout my life, and now know things that most only dream of learning. The knowledge that has been given to me is a loving gift from my goddess, Elara, and I wish to do back some of the kindness she has shown me. Soon I shall effectively take up the way of Priesthood to Elara.
I know that in the past there have been... lesser minded followers who did things through my goddess's name and only brought shame to her. A certain elfess, bearing the goddess's namesake has cast a looming shadow upon all who would try to be in the service of Elara. I wish to change this. Soon I shall bring pride back to my goddess, and her followers, with knowledge and wisdom used only to help those in need. The three great questions that all of you wonder, I shall seek to answer. The reason for greed, the reason for violence, and the reason for suffering.
Of course I know there are things in my past not fitting to a priest, and I will seek to change these in the future. If any of you wish to help me, I would be very pleased. Thank you for taking the time from your busy lives to read this proclaimation, and may the goddess bless you with the wisdom needed to get through the day. May her light guide you all, and may her hand be on you always in protection.

I, young Bronzebeard, am a person who is only seeking to become better in the eyes of his goddess of choosing. I meant this announcement not for discussion, but to tell the town that I wish to follow the path of a priest. I'm sure that you could use a teacher Bronzebeard, I am always ready to pass on a bit of knowledge. Many have said that you aren't well behaved, and I have seen you act a bit odd, but maybe you just need a role model.
