Cant seem to start... - what happened to my guy?!

My guy, named "Leif" have problems connecting
the screen turns black a second then its gone.... like nothing never happened...
but my brother.... he has a char on this computer too.... and i know his password so i tryed to connect with him... and it went smoothly....
...
... so.....  what happened?
what can i do?....

PS: when the problem starts ,i dont get a message....

i have the problem too    but i close the program and start again  then it goes

i tryed to start it many times...
but i cant 'wait' for it to change color... since
the game quits itself... in under a second...
so i cant really quit it if i wanted to... since the game does it for me

if i login near new chars and they talk i get kicked direct when i come in
i think u have the same prob

no i mean... i dont get to play....
but now i started a new char so this problem is not relevant...

oh... how to fix problem:
load the char that does not work, on another computer
then quit normaly
and go back to the previous computer.... it should work then
