Yeah so malkav is a vampire of the third generation. (just remembered)
still its a good name to have. I think they should stop names like frodo ect. because thats just stupid. If they do a char, they should make one from a game or book not so well known.
John Irenicus was accepted however he was one of the main bad guys
in Baldurs Gate 2. (quite a well known game.)

They should not be from a game or book at all. It is easy to make up a name for people with creativity, this is the very first step in the process proving you are creative I guess. There are alot of exceptions, mostly because they were here before the account system and are good roleplayers. Many names were forced to be changed also becuase of they were not acceptable.

Well known or not..using names from other sources than your own mind shows you lack any sort of creativity. How can you react in a decent RP style when you expect others to create a characters name for you.
