Kasume stood by the burning logs. He had prepared the fire for just the occasion. Saving those woods for that moment. A man walked up. Watching the fire crackle in the night's chill.
In the fire laid a melted necklace, and a blackened cape. Kasume twitched his nose as he watched the flames destroy the memories.
With a sigh, he said to the man:
"Destroying old memories..."
"Yet the memories are only turning into smoke..."
"But they fly away. Far away."
As the man nodded Kasume stares into the dying fire. In only a few moments, the fire had died. Leaving only the remains of ashes. Carefully letting the ashes slide from his hand and into the river.
Squinting his eyes in a form of concentration of what was to come. He shook his head. Those memories were gone. Now he must work on his currents.

Kasume sat by the fire. Staring dazingly into the bottle he held up in front of him. He thought, he wondered. And he knew of nothing that could be done. Every night, he continued to do this. Every time, he had the money for wine. The provider of wine.
Kasume smiled at the thought of a friend with free wine.
The fire crackled as Kasume sat staring into the bottle with a sense of none. Smiling with the slightest big of insanity.
"He's not gone..."
He whispered to himself.
"He's only weak..."
Kasume spent entire nights, allowing the bottle corrupt his mind once more of the spirit within.

Kasume once more looks into his bottle of a new night. Smiling with bits of insanity he thinks for a moment.
"Lovingly bottle... Oh your colors. What will I ever make of them in time?"
He smiled at it.
"Beautiful... yet in other ways hurtful. Reminds me of Fir Trees..."
He then whispered, lowering his head.
"Or a person I once knew..."
He grinned at the thought. Passing memories flowing through his mind.
"Essentially hurtful when touched by them, yet beautiful in their own way. The sting lasts... and lasts... and lasts. Eventually dying. Falling from your finger. Then, the pain goes away. And leaves a small mark. A mark that is only recovered in time. So small, yet so hurtful. And then the pain begins to throb within..."
He smiled at his words. The bottle risen to his face as he stared into it. He drank from it, nearly emptying it. Looking through the clears ends of the bottle, he saw the deep forest. The fires barely dancing high enough for veiw. Then, quickly finishing the bottle he lowered his head. His face darkened, his pitch darkened. And his voice lowered...
"You will have what you want Kasume. You deserve what you want. You get what you want. And I can help. You just have to let me."
Kasume sat through the night, in the deep forest, blackened by the cool chilly breeze. The fire dying, along with a soul. He let his mind slip. He let the bottle curse him for the night.

Widened his eyes in terror at the bottle risen in his hand from him. His jaw slightly ajar.
"Gods heaven..."
His eye slightly twitched as he gulped in a wad of spit. So many nights like these. The fire danced like never before as he lowered his bottle. A mix of confusion and fear.
"I... can't..."
He jumped slightly staggering backwards, throwing his hands to hold his balance. Staring the fire, dropping the bottle.
"I... can't..."
He pushed himself against a tree and looked above the fire into the deep forest. He began hearing footsteps. Large, poundings, of the grass. He emptied himself of all care. Widened his eyes as large as can be. The creature appeared from the trees. Grunting with a grin. Pointed at him. Soon another appeared from the east, the west, and from his back. He looked around, at the large, green creatures, in simple amazement...
