Ok i cant play this game cause i have 800*600 resolution and there's nothing i can do about it..
So why cant the program be modified so dat it runs in resolutions: 640*400, 800*600, etc
Basically all resolution above 640*400 cause any lower i and i know the game would look squashed and crappy.
The only problem i can see with this idea is dat the PPL using these resolutions will have a lower point of view(can only see part of the map) and maybe the graphics will look squashed.
But who cares... i prefer to play the game with crappy graphics etc than not play the game altogether.
The only thing i cant figure out is why this game didnt run in all resolutions in the first place.
Sure the standard can be 1024*800. but not every1 has dat resolution. my resolution is 800*600 64K colours.

The reason you can't play isn't that you have 800x600 resolution. The game will automatically adjust your screen to 1024x768 and then back when you minimize or exit. Get a new graphics card or something.

Actually, that is a generic DirectX message that was probably left in and not changed when the game was switched to 800x600. (Just my guess from DX programming).
The problem is probably the number of colors. They may have switched it to true color (24 bit) when they went down to 800x600, does your monitor support true color? If it doesnt' do 1024x768 then I doubt it does true color.
Although these are my educated guesses from what I've read here and know of DX and graphics cards and monitors.
