Sing, you rat!
I had an interesting idea.
WE have the following command :
#me
#shout
#whisper
!name
!gm
......well, how about a #sing or !sing.......and pretty much it would add ....oh..lets say a little musical note in front of and behind what you type, so people actually know that you are singing. I think it would add a nice little spice to the RP.

I think THIS could be impossible, because we have the commands:Arkadia Misella wrote:I had an interesting idea.

Right? I recogniced it when I typed "#wispa TEXT" and it was successful...
So #sing would belong to #s, wich would be #shout...
I think you can do good RP with #me...
Musical notes have an ASCII value of 14 (dez)... Perhaps it it possible to implement it... I think of the "chr"-command... If you've luck, you get a musical note, if not, you get a command like a new line...
But this can only be implemented by the programmers... (I'll test it to do it in-game)
EDIT:
I tried it, it's not possible for us players...

When De'am sings ingame, it's always ballad-type things, so I always start verse text with something like " ~* " and end it with " *~ ", just to help clarify when the lines are done or whatnot. This is good point, though -- I've always thought about perhaps having some sort of music note symbol used for this kind of thing.......

Can't this musicalness be implemented simply by "#me sings: Lalala" ?
Just for the #me's:
Is it impossible to make the Server to recognize #Me as #me?
I sometimes capitalize the first letter by accident which causes the whole line to come as "Caranthir: #Me does this and that" which is rather annoying.

I think good RPlers will ignore it and see it as a simple #me...Caranthir the great wrote: Is it impossible to make the Server to recognize #Me as #me?
