Dear Hahasin Tcimta.

Your relatives Delakaniam ven-Tcimta and Tzi Hahasus ven-Tcimta are both member of the Band of Bards. I am in this guild too, so I have contact with them sometimes. The one you call Delakaniam can be found in Trolls Bane around the evening hours.
But maybe you want to use one of my doves, which will find her quickly.

Good luck, Phelix Vierwind

After he pins this note at the board, Phelix leaves one of his doves there. To prevent the dove from flying away, he ties it up with a short piece of thread.

Paul walks up to the public forums. He quickly scans the messages for anything interesting. He sees nothing and starts to turn away when something catches his eyes. To moves closer to it before realizeing what it is. A dead dove. Sickened, he walks away quickly.

((It was a little different before Paul killed off the bird....))

The bottle in her hand fizzes and bubbles as De'am pops another cherry in her mouth and takes a swig of the airy drink Laoti. She offers one of the small red fruits to Tzi, who declines it politely with a shake of her head before showing her own full supply in the bag at her side. De'am laughs and gives a shrug.

Approaching the town wall, De'am glances up curiously at the black, glazed eyes of the dead dove staring down at her. The limp creature’s form snatches her attention, and she motions for Tzi to stop a moment for her to give at least a quick glance at the board. Her eyes pass over a piece of parchement adorned with an ornate and all-too-familiar crest, and she freezes in shock. De'am stares at the crest and the note above it with wide eyes. She veers her gaze over to Tzi to find her twin staring silently with a nearly identical expression, only Tzi's teeth are gritted tightly against each other. De'am turns back and regards the note as if demon beasts would spring forth from the plain, dark ink.

"Tzi!" She hisses, "What is HE doing here?!"

Hahasin returns to the paper-covered wall and checks for any replies to his request. His yellow eyes light on the dangling dead dove, and he reads
the attached note. He pulls out another paper with the Tzicyal crest and, in a jagged, antiquated hand, writes:

"Thank you for your informative reply, Master Vierwind.
Does anyone else have anymore information concerning the sisters? I have heard that one of them has married since she arrived here. If this is so, I need to give the happy couple a wedding gift, but not knowing which one has possibly married, I do not want to ask either sister. "

When passing the town board this morning, Phelix wants to take a look after his dove, which he left there. As he recognizes the dead animals body, he grumbles some dirty words and removes the corpse. While he continues grumbling, he discovers some cherrystones on the ground.
Cherrystones... I am nearly sure, that De'am was here he thinks. That means, she will take care of this matter by herself.
With this in mind, he leaves the board whistling, without giving any further information.

Hahasin looks at his dagger-stabbed parchment mildly. He reads the crudely-written note quickly. After finishing, he smiles and says "Tzi's here" to himself. He writes another note in the same harsh hand and carefully places it under Tzi's dagger.

"Dearest cousin:
I thought you would be happier than this to hear from me. You know I wish you and your eternally beautiful sister no harm. I simply want to give her my congratulations on her marriage to that half-elf. I also have a lovely little wedding present for the happy couple. Meet me in the orchard tomorrow by the cherry tree, and Delakaniam will receive her gift. I will be expecting both of you.

Your loving cousin,

Damien browses the blackboard, as his eyes catch the written notes. He raises an eyebrow, and reads the notes more closely.
"Interesting", he mumbles, as he walks on, looking through the people as if searching someone.

Drathe snorted his reply to the happy smile of Eliza, ‘Tight as a ducks behind.’ Truth be told the carpenter knew his work would warrant little pay from the local merchant, the lizard renown for her tight purse strings. Pocketing the coin he made from the trader’s company pausing to an unfamiliarity in the corner of his eye. A small dagger, the size more acquainted with fruit pickers or small game hunters.

The woodworker’s head cocked slightly as he took a pace closer, hand reaching for the ink scribed paper in the daggers point. Familiar names graced his eyes in the form of words, so to did a crest. Bold and bright or a red bird. Seems that one of the good sisters family was in town for better… or worse. The notes seemed to taint his opinion. ‘Best keep an eye on them,’ he whispered to the paper and made to the woods for work.

((RP CURRENTLY CLOSED.))

De’am walks soundlessly past the gratings and hammerings of the workshop to the quiet orchard north of the Seahorse Inn. Despite the shine of the afternoon sun peering upon her face from between the clouds, a chill wind stirs the air in small, sudden drafts, and De’am tugs a cloak corner closer to her as the gust snatches it. She looks ahead to the wind-stirred orchard and the figure of her twin sitting quietly at the base of a cherry tree, leaves eddying around her like little imps uttering no more than a faintest whisper. Tzi gazes absently in thought at the water’s side as De’am approaches.

“Hello, sister mine,” she says. Tzi looks up with hardly a glance and tosses her a cherry in reply. De’am pops the cherry in her mouth, spitting out pit and knotted cherry stem shortly after seating herself down on the grass next to Tzi. She follows her sister’s gaze to the noiseless ripples of the water and sighs. After an extended period of time with no further response from Tzi, she looks to the pair of amber eyes identical to her very own.

De’am breaks the silence in a somewhat reserved, conversational manner. “You know, my good sister, I’ve been thinking. I’ve a good mind to run into the woods there over beyond the stream.” She nods her head in the direction indicated. “I’ve a good mind to run into those very woods, and find him, our very own proper, beloved, well-mannered cousin,” she spits the word amidst her calm mien, “because I know he’s there watching us, and I’ve a good mind to tell him a friendly hello, you know, just a friendly greeting between close family and all.” She gives a shrug of the shoulders. “And then once I’ve told him my very happy hello, I’ve a good mind to skin the flea-ridden hide of his mangy corpse with, oh, we’ll say, whatever might be conveniently at hand – Take this dull, rusty dagger yanked from the putrid, festering intestines of a re-dead undead as a fine example. It’s had a long, hard life. We ought to put it to one final good use, wouldn’t you say, Tzi?”

De’am’s placid expression twists into a sneer of irony as she eyes an invisible dagger in her hand. She regains her composure and gives Tzi a bright smile as she waits for a reply. Tzi shoots her a look. De’am reads the sardonic glare with little difficulty, and her smile fades away, rather expectedly. She sighs, hurls the imaginary dagger into the forests across the stream, and tucks her knees to her chin, burying her face in her arms in quiet frustration.

De’am lifts her head and looks with a raised eyebrow to her sister’s idea. Her ears finally move back, and she says, “Whatever you may choose to do with whatever may remain of him is your choice. I’ll have nothing to do with him afterwards, alive or rotting, if we can be rid of him.”

Tzi asks quietly after a moment, “What should we do?”

De’am’s eyes slide to her sister’s at the asking of the question, and she finally turns with a sweet, sarcastic smile. “Good question, Tzi, you ought to start on that. Perhaps you should begin by thinking of all the possible choices we have available, I’m certain there’s bound to be PLENTY.” De’am turns her gaze back and stares out at the woods around them.

Tzi mentions, “Well, of course there isn’t much, we could go on the run again, though that really wasn’t much along the lines of amusement, I daresay—“

De’am suddenly stands to her feet and cries in fury, “Show yourself, you worthless, pathetic, heartless scum of the hells!!! Go ahead and show your filthy, dispicable self, Hahasin!!!"

De’am turns away angrily but stops short as she comes to see Tzi standing beneath the branches of the cherry tree with her fists clenched and a truly terrible look in her eyes. De’am falls into a matching silence and turns her gaze to fall upon a sight she both dreaded and despised.

An elf similar in appearance to the twins walks towards them with all the grace and deadliness of hunting cat. He slips by the undead's haven without disturbing the denizens, but the aura of despair continues to cling. Hahasin's cold yellow eyes flicker from one sister to the other. He bows mockingly in a courtly manner and noting the anger and dread he is greeted with smiles benignly and says, “Dear cousins—here you are! You are late, it is true, but what does the difference in a few days mean to beings such as ourselves? It gladdens my heart to see my most beloved relations again. Why, the last time I saw either of you was for a funeral—and I didn’t stay for it.”
Tzi shudders with anger, unable to contain it any longer, and lunges at Hahasin. Her fragile, ringed hands grope for his throat. He smiles mirthlessly, his white teeth showing clearly in his darker skin and effortlessly disentangles her hands from his throat. He grabs her wrists and holds her at arm’s length. “Why Tzi! I am overjoyed that you are so happy to see me!” Tzi half-heartedly tries to pull away from the stronger man’s grip, but quickly subsides. She composes herself, standing tall, the only sign of emotion the burning hatred in her eyes. Staring at him defiantly, she spits out one word “Murderer!” He looks at her mildly, with his flat yellow eyes. There is the first hint of anger in his voice as he replies with mock servility: “Lady Morrín, I never murder. I cleanse. They had to be put in their place, to be purified. Arntel Morrín was human filth. He was dealt with as such.” He turns swiftly to Delakaniam “And I thank you for bringing that little matter to my attention.”

De’am stands her ground warily as she watches Tzi spring for Hahasin’s throat. The seeping of his voice sends a rattling shudder up her spine, but she remains silent as Tzi eventually subsides in the grip of the stronger elf. De’am smolders as Hahasin gives Tzi his explanatory reason for his last murder, but her face turns pallid as Hahasin turns his cold, yellow-eyed gaze to her, bringing a sudden realization upon her at the mention of the “little matter”.

“Hahasin, what is it you want from us…” De’am speaks the words slowly as she returns his gaze with contempt.

“Straying from the area under discussion, are we, De’am?” Hahasin peers back with a taunting tilt of his head. “Come now, good cousin… You couldn’t possibly have kept this little factor secret from your lovely sister for all these years, could you—“ Hahasin glances briefly to Tzi, and his thin face dons an expression of mock surprise as he sees the elfess looking back with narrowed eyes of wary curiosity. “Oh! And perhaps you have, seeing what reaction our beloved Tzi is taking on…” Hahasin gives a sickening grin. “Care to elaborate, dear De’am?”

“No.” De’am replies curtly, but her amber eyes are tinged with creeping dread.

Hahasin chuckles, an unnerving noise to hear. “Oh, but sisters, especially ones so close as yourselves, should not keep secrets from each other, now should they?” He looks between the two identical twins, finally turning to rest his gaze on the one in his grasp. “Your good sister, all those many years ago, was kind enough to aid me in my… task to purge.” Hahasin pauses for a subtly timed moment to observe for reactions. De’am stands stiff with her hands clenched as she watches in anxious uncertainty.

Tzi shudders “I do not want to hear this!” she cries. Hahasin grins maddeningly as he says softly, almost soothingly:
“Those rings you wear on the chain are the cause of your husband’s death. Your sister was seen at the Elfin Faire where she bought them; one of my friends was kind enough to inform me.”
Tzi futilely shakes her head, refusing to comprehend what he is saying. She stares at the rings with growing horror as she reluctantly accepts what he says as truth, then makes a feeble motion as if to tear them away from her, finally half-collapsing against a cherry tree. Hahasin graciously releases the grieving elfess’ wrist and turns back to De’am.
“Cousin, it seems that your sister is tired, so I will leave soon. But first, I must give you your wedding present.”
He pulls an elaborately carved wooden box made of scented wood from a satchel under his cloak. In one liquid motion he sets the box at her feet as if before a queen, and bows with a courtly flourish.
“Farewell cousins—I look forward to our next meeting.”
He bows again, to both of them, mockingly treating them as high royalty, backing away in disgustingly servile manner. The dark-clothed and dark-haired elf is soon lost to view in the dying day.

De’am watches Tzi with pain and infinite apology in her gaze at her sister’s anguish. The same eyes smolder to the angry molten gold as her attention is turned to Hahasin placing the ornate box at her feet with the mocking flourish. The elf vanishes with a silent, untraceable quickness into the shadows of the wood. After a moment, De’am lowers her eyes and looks to the wooden chest upon the ground with apprehension. She glances at her twin uneasily, but there is no response from Tzi. De’am looks back, and for a pause, the dark-haired elfess and the scented wooden box seem to eye each other, daring the other to move first.

De’am draws back slightly in surprise at her sister’s sudden action. She watches as the small chest tumbles across the ground in a jerky roll. The bulky weight of the contents tips the box into one final topple, and the catch flies open. The momentum sends a clothed bundle rolling out from the velvet lining of the open box, accompanying a small object with a dull glitter, its glint catching briefly in the dying light before falling into the grass.

After an uneasy pause, De’am takes a hesitant step forward, both elfesses regarding the objects with mirroring apprehension. De’am walks slowly to the package and studies it, albeit from a subconscious distance. Though the cloth is of fine quality, it rumples and wrinkles over a few small lumps and indentations across the melon-sized contents, which appear to have remained intact as one whole despite the recent abuse. Scattered, dark brown fibers are the only sign of any damage.

A long moment passes before De’am forces her courage and draws even nearer. However, Tzi watches as her twin suddenly stops short at a certain distance from the bundle and sniffs the air, her brow furrowing at a newfound scent. A fly lands on the folds of the bundle and flicks its wings as it crawls about for an opening under the cloth. De’am draws away once more, cloak drawn close as if from an invisible foreboding. A fearful denial fills her amber-hued eyes as she circles around the bundle and begins scanning the ground nearby. Through the grass the tiny glint catches her gaze, and she kneels down to find the object.

As she picks it up, De’am suddenly falls into a deathly silence, unnervingly soundless despite the quiet already around them. The color drains from her lips and face when she takes a look hesitantly from her hands to the dreadful, head-sized bundle and back. Tzi watches her twin staring with wide-eyed horror at the small, dulled heartstone between her delicate hands, a gem identical to her own, and carried by only one other: De’am’s beloved, Mandil Aglandol.
