Hello everyone. I've read through about 7 pages of the proposal board (those that were in english, at least... unfortunately I cannot speak/read german, and as has been proven, translators are hopless.) I hope this hasn't been suggested before (as I said, I haven't read every post on the board) because I realize that repeat proposals get on everyone's nerves. Anyway, I've read that there are already new potions on the slate for an update, but I thought I would suggest one more just so that I wouldn't kick myself later.
Do you think it would be difficult to implement a magic-flame extinguishing potion? I'm not a programmer, so I really don't know.
I can see how this could be construed as unfair to mages, but I really don't think it would create too much of a problem. Most mages I've met don't use flames for player against player battles (Though I suppose some may), and those who use them against monsters probably won't give a druid any reason to extinguish them.
The main reason I think this would be helpful is because so many mages like to show off their "talents" by torching the town. Granted, they can be killed, threatened, reasoned with, etc... but the fire remains.
This was an awfully long post for such a simple suggestion. =/
Thanks for everyone's time.

A Humble Potion Suggestion
Hm... well, I just read Roke's post a while back about an anti-field spell. Spell, potion, doesn't really matter... just some way to nix the pyrotechnics. =/
A Humble Potion Suggestion
I don't really think that such a potion is useful. It would decrease the difference between mages and druids. But in my opinion this is a very important part of the game. If druids had such potions the mages would be able to make potions like druids. So all players would have the same skills. All could make flames and potions as well. And that would be boring.

I don't see much wrong with something like this. But the reason it can't be done now is that it may cause some "side-effects" (read Roke's proposal).
