There shouldnt be only up to fire sword in weapons and you should be able to make em all, same with all equip. there should be one really expensive npc who sells better stuff, right now, all there is to save up for is houses and guild houses...it gets boring...

I would love smithing magic items with silver bars, and iron, and gold - and minimum knowledge in some runes...
And let's smith crowns and cups from golden and silver bars later on, they do need a worth =)
We could also need copper and silver coins too... like this :
10 copper coins = 1 silver coin
100 silver coins = 1 Gold coin

All hard-to-make- things could have gold worth, weapons and armor too.

What about some bigger things need more material for production ? like:
dagger size - 1 ore+coal - 10 silver to 2 gold worth
shortsword size - 2 ore+coal - 1 to 3 gold worth
sword size - 4 ore+coal - 5 to 15 gold worth
chainmail 5 ore+coal 20 to 30 gold worth
big sword size - 8 ore+coal 20 to 30 gold worth
plate armor size 10 ore+coal 30 to 50 gold worth

Wooden things prices can have silver
worth, normal food can have copper worth.

That would balance the price a bit more, good daggers with about 2 gold worth, cheaper daggers with less quality, for example. This way, the material cost is added to the price, and it provides from making some hundred plate armors too.

I would be glad, if there were some new wooden items too. There´s not even an equivalent to the firesword for wooden weapons. How about special arrows or bows?
