Band of Bards

The Band of Bards is a new guild of entertainers. We have singers, dancers, and musicians. We will hold parties in the tavern about every week....more information will follow in a little bit.

Die 'Band of Bards' ist eine neue Gilde von Künstlern. Unsere Mitglieder sind Sänger, Tänzer und Musiker. Wir werden ungefähr einmal in der Woche ein Fest mit Musik und Tanz in der Taverne ausrichten...mehr Informationen folgen hier in Kürze.

Jeder ist willkommen....

Nach einigem Sägen und Hämmern, richtet Cliu das massive Holzschild auf und schlägt es fest in den Boden. Danach befestigt er noch ein Tintenfäßchen und eine Feder daran.

Phelix walks slowly towards the town wall like he was invited to a funeral ceremony. With a face full of sorrow, he stops infront of the wooden board, which Cliu installed here for their Bards guild. It was a really nice idea, but... grumbles Phelix while he adds one last note:

Dear bards and fellows!

From this day on, the Band of Bards is no more. Our leader and initiator Cliu Beothach leaves this island soon. Therefore this young guild will disappear too. Maybe it is the best for all artists to stay freethinkers and not to unite in herds.

To the former members: To keep in touch with the remaining, I will be in tavern tonight for some last conversations with all of you aesthetic minds, if you wish.

After finishing this message, Phelix stays a little while in motionless silence. Then he goes back to work.

Thank you, I hope to return soon one day with many more tales and songs, but my absences should not mean this guild should fall...if you wish you can keep it up. I was no leader, we were all the same.
