this IS more of GFX but it is a game ehancement...
when you push someone they simply disapear and reapear on the new tile, depending on lag sometimes a clone is made.
there needs to be a stumbling grahic for each race! if your pushed you dont just MOVE to another spot, you stumble or fall.

There are alot of other graphics to be made too, and most more important than this.

"Push" is just a simplified way of describing the command used to move someone out of the way. The command doesn't neccesarily refer to pushing someone down. It can be used to move, carry, jump, dance, and at times even pull someone closer, so a "stumbling" graphic isn't neccesary.

Yes, what is your point? It is easy to see what Lloyd is saying, even though you may not like it. When someone is pushed out of the way, they stumble, like Lloyd said. I dont see how "dancing" has anything to do with pushing. There are two types of this pushing: The stumbling and the jumping. But really, jumping isn't necessary. In real life, do you see people hopping around from side to side and back and forth on their way to work? No. So what Lloyd is saying makes sense, a stumbling graphic.

I've seen many people who jumpf to their work in RL.
I think what Guardian means is, that the use of pushing is different. Maybe you are carrying someone away, you don't push him so he falls on the ground. Or if you simply want to push you into the stonecircle at the sheeps maybe, you don't fall into it
I hope now you got the point, its much in use, so a falling graphic would make it worse.

Not falling, stumbling. Even if you mean to jump, if you go a fair distance without perfect accuracy, you can stumble. If you squeeze through a space, you can stumble. That is the one transition that is needed.

I believe that the graphic artists have got plenty of other things to do.
Pushing...
True, but some day, they'll have time, and they might consider it.

This will not be done for reasons, that have often been posted:
The amount of player graphics would be doubled.
If we implement this, we could implement sitting graphics also (fishing, digging, fighting...)
If we do this, there must be graphics for fishing persons being pushed. for digging persons being attacked .....
