OOC Ceasefire; Northern Stuff
There is one heck of a mess going on with the OOC aspects of Northerot, so Hagen, myself, and Gwynnether request a stopping of events, meetings, and attacks until everything is straightened out. We would like to know what the GMs conditions are for these current events, and we would like to make sure that the majority of it is controlled by players without interference.
So all attackers, defenders and prisoners, please stop the action temporarily.
Thanks,
-PO Vahkos

Whats there to sort out...? Lyrenzia guards took over Northerot. Some are outside in the courtyard, others are in the castle. Northerot guards and Grant are trying to uproot Lyrenzia and take Northerot as there own again.
But yeah, I deffinetly agree, I do not like how GMs got involved with this, even when Darlok was alive, it was impossible to beat him cause of super powers. but then i cannot complain about this since Grant got uber powers for a short time too.. I dunno, I think the GMs shouldnt dictate what happens ingame. I think it got out of hand with the Northerot guards and Lyrenzia guards.
And all the powers that went with it...

@Grant
Well despite the fact that you haven't been in game for months, your still trying to say your right, well if you had been on yesterday, you would know that Notherot changed hands about four times in as many hours, as Zerbus attacked, won, counted attacked and ran away, then he counter attacked and won, then we counter attacked and won, and now I don't know who controls Notherot right now, so untill everything is established, I agree with no more fighting.

Arkadia is right. after such big fights (and that were big fights) the troops must rest, gather and prepare the next fights. an army cannot fight each day or severel times a day. not in time were war doesn't mean walking and shooting, but walking in heavy metal and swinging huge, heavy weapons for hours.

The GMs can help out those who need help resisting, but not make them invincible.Grant Herion wrote:But whichever side has a GM is going to win no matter the numbers. Or skills.
I don't like the fact that the only way for it to be taken over is if skills are used to defeat whoever currently owns it. Surely, there are many more possibilites than "slice, slice, bash, 'BAM, I own Northerot now!' log-out-in-castle."

That's like saying we aren't allowed to play anymore. It's going to be impossible to get an entire "cease fire" thing out...Arkadia Misella wrote:Val..you are still breaking the cease fire...or you did anyway...by talking with grant and such...no mettings, or talks, or anything should be taking place...think of it as though everything just froze

It doesn't mean you can't play anymore. Just stop influencing actions or plans IG regarding Northerot and its occupation.Kasume wrote:That's like saying we aren't allowed to play anymore.
