Offlining it. - Something to mull over...

Is there any chance of allowing us to build our characters up offline. This would allow us to concentrate on roleplaying while in game and online!

yes i agree with that idea, even though i'm no tplaying right now, WHEN!!! i come back it would be nice because some of us(ME!!!!) are stuck with dial-up and if you have only one phone line some people tend to get annoyed fi you're using it all the time

for good reason no sensible online game has this option, not even tibia.
(well, maybe some egoshooters have that option)
result would be uncounted powergamed killerchars that flood the game.

Powergaming is already there, but I think even worse would be cheating. To play offline the character has to be saved on your own HDD, which would make cheating very easy. Now, they are saved on a server, on that nobody of us (expect the programmers) have access.
Saving your character on the HDD, everbody has access to it and can edit it.
If you want to play Illarion offline, ask for an offline version, which you can play alone.(although, that will be VERY boring)
