We can to tell You, we have accepted your request for an account for Illarion.
I am glad that I will be RPing with you! I won't desapoint you! Thank you to Illarion team who does a great job!
But something flashed in my mind... I answered the questions, the story, but I'm not at 100% sure on which account I have been accepted

Was it Karl Smith, Karl Varrock, or Another Karl? If it's not much to ask for an answer I would be glad

Or else, I will try them all! Hehe

I recieved my email from illa_flea@yahoo.de and the story was about a elven scout sent by the Elders of Eldamar to guard the northen Pass which was frequently used as a trade route...

Secondly, I have a few questions (For the GMs) Actually it's a suggestion..

I though of starting a clan (Once I get in the game) which will be called :
" Royal Guard " ( RG for short ) which will consist of players ( The best roleplayers, mainly ), who will always be there to solve problems in a "Roleplaying" Manner, like this, even the punishments will be done by "Roleplaying". What do I mean? Here's my plan:

1- The RG can be here to solve any " fight " that could occur between a player and another.
2- They could also (With the agreements of our GMs, of course

) ask from offending players (Who will have broked a rule like : insulting, complotting for an attack, etc.. etc..) a fine, which will consist in a certain ammount of gold depending of the importance of the fact. I am not making myself very clear... I'll make it in examples :

Player X insults player Z. Why to call GMs and ban/warn directly? The RG can be here to solve the problem (With an RP manner, of course) and reconciliate both player X and Z. If X insulted Z wihtout any reason, then GMs must be contacted. If there is a " pretended " RP reason, then player Z will talk to the RG to talk about it. If X's reason isn't reasonable, he will have to pay a fine of ____ gold to the RG.

Player X have killed player Z (If it's without reason, then RG must contact an GM) but if it is for an RP reason, then player Z can go talk to the RG whcih will see what is the problem. If player X was wrong, then player X has to pay a fine of ____ gold to the RG.

All the gold collected can be used to Help newbies, to Buy equipments for the needed.
If an RG is caught using the gold for his personal services, then the GMs will be contacted and the fact will result in a warn/ban as the GMs will decide.

If my idea CANNOT be accepted, It's ok, I have more ideas

But I still hope that it will be accepted, as I think it's a very good idea. Dontcha?

This Royal Guard seems to be a bit contradictory, don't you think? It claims to be fully roleplay influenced, but it seems mostly, from what I construed, as a go-between for the GMs.

The GMs can do their job fine. Consult the newbie board and guild board for tips on starting a more original guild.

Be sure to ask Keikan for permission to post on the guild board, before you actually do so.

I haven't played the game yet so it was just an idea... I dont really know... does the GM solve problems while roleplaying or is it just.. warning the BLANG!! ban ? If this project cannot be accomplished, I have an another idea

Dont mix IC and OOC.

If a Player insults a Player its completly OOC and a job for us, the GMs.
If you involve your Character with that, you only get yourself in trouble.

There is already a Town Guard formed by Characters and well played, they handle IC-crimes.
A "Royal Guard" is hard to explain in Trolls Bane, the town you will play in, since there is no monarchy.
There are only two monarchies, Northerot and Silverbrand, and I doubt they need another guard.

Since you are accepted you can create a guild at the guildboard, but be sure to follow the rules and give your guild some "style".
Not a simple "Here is my guild, now join"-posting.

I highly suggest you follow Brendans advice and ask arround at the Newbie-Board for help.

In conclusion I can only say:
Dont rush into these things, play some weeks (!) and than decide if you like to start something own (and maybe fail) or join something already existing.

I'd recommend you to have a look through the guild board and see just how many guilds we have, that rose for no reason, and plummeted hours, days, weeks or months later. Learn from the past, old boy.

Ahh! Ok! Didn't know about that Town-Guard... (By the way. I'm Human... Actually i'm a bit confused.. because I dont know under what name i've been accepted.. was it.. Karl Smith.. Karl Varrock, Karl Varron, Karl Lorm or some other Karl ?

) I guess i got a BIT too excited about the game

. I was Really happy when I knew i was accepted. I have another.. " evil " Idea in mind

I'll propose my new clan once I get a bit more experience in the game
