Instant Messenge - or a cry for help

Post by Dunja »

Yesterday I found out that it is impossible to run for ones life and to cry (write) for help at the same time.
A group got ambushed by an (or more) archer(s) and i hab no chance to warn the others before all were dead.

So here is my suggestion:
Would it be possible to bind some text messages to the function keys (F5-F10).
It would really be useful in moments where you needed 4 or more hands to for example run and write at the same time.
like: #s alarm, #s help...

It doesn't seem to be too hard to be implemented, and I would really appreciate this option!

useless, its useless...
if someone new decides to play "cry wolf" they will constantly hit keys and if keys are hit to often we wont react due to the fact someone kept hitting the keys

you probabaly already know this but you can double click on an area
on the mini-map and that gives plenty of time to type.

It's not as effective though if you need to turn in a different direction while you're running
Hope you have plenty of space to run ;)
