Post by Feoric Treecut »

maybe this is the wrong place to ask BUT what does it mean when a topic is locked and if it is one that doesnt really have any point in keepin (like my old one that was locked) why dont you delete it? anyway what i really wanted to say is
that everyone here is so friendly and id like to hug you all... but i wont :P
cos im kind of smelly (im trying to get into role by not showering and rolling in mud :P)

A Locked topic means you can no longer post there, only view what was previously posted.
The reason they are not deleted, is so people can still view the topic and maybe answer their question without having to make a new topic and ask the same one again, yet cannot put in their own opinion or whatever, since the question has already been answered, and no longer needs to be posted in.
There can be other reasons, but this is the most common. At least on most forums I've been to, I assume it is the same here.

The reason your last topic was locked, was because it degenerated into a chat. Use MSN or private messages for this. As far as I can see, this topic just may very well go the same way.
