Thomas returns from a long travel to his old town and sees three orcs in the road. "Hiho!" he shouts to them in greeting when he is attacked. The orcs beat him almost to death when he passes out...
Thomas wakes up in a dark cave. The orcs are there still. Thomas remembers he has a paper in his pocket and a quill. He writes a note to anyone and weakly shoves the note into one of the orc's shoes, weakly enough so a slight breeze would take it. The note says:

If anyone finds this, please help! I, Thomas Oakridge, am stuck in a cave with some orcs. I cannot escape or they will probably beat me like they did before. I'm scared. I hope someone reads this and finds me before it's too late.

The orc with the note in his shoe walks up out of the cave. A small breeze takes the note away while the orc looks the other way. The note reaches the town of Trollsbane and lands just under someone's feet...

A lizard near the gates picks up the note and reads it...he walks to the nearest cave and looks around.

Tom waits in his cave, not the one the lizard went to. The other orc has returned with blood of some animal or person. The orcs feast upon it, making Tom sick. Tom sits there in the corner, just watching and waiting. He listens as the orcs talk in their strange tongue. They speak something about Moshran, god of blood and bones.

Outside, far away from the cave where the halfling was taken, sits a spear in the ground. On the spear is a slightly smashed skull, still damp and red. A few more bones lay around the place, and a large sign with large red words written in blood hangs just under the skull.

The sign reads:

More Blood For The Blood God!

Lasendor jumps down from a tree and lands awkwardly on the ground. With a groan of pain, he stands up and begins walking back to trollsbane when he hears muffled voices bahind him. He quickly takes out his bow and draws out an arrow. Nothing. As soon as he turns around, a large iron chain net falls on him. In a matter of seconds he is surounded by orcs. They poke him and spit on him, then a large foot kicks hits him in the face and he passes out...
He wakes up in a cave filled with the horrible stench of death. Lasendor mumbles a short prayer and looks around. His eyes widen when he sees a small hobbit laying against a rock, he appears to be unconcious.
Lasendor attempts to wake up the hobbit by throwing stones at him gently...
