game won't start

whenever I try to play, I type in my char name and my pw, then I get a blank black screen like I should as I wait to play. then the black screen goes away and there is no error message, it just goes away and never lets me on. nothing ever pops up to tell me what's wrong, it just goes away. what's wrong?

make sure you have your screen set to the correct things. 16 bit color and i think its 1064 by 700 or something

I bet your illarion folder is currupt. Try redownloading, the first time you log in it will do this, but other times it shouldn't.

Uhmmm... It doesn't require 16 bit color or those screen resolutions. It runs fine using 32 bit color with 1280 x 768 resolution.

It changes your monitor to display 1280x768x16. If your monitor does not support this, you have a problem.
