But you are, I mean, did you think you could say all those things about what you do/what you've accomplished and then think we would believe a word of it?

You know whats really funny?

You follow a man who has promised things since 3years ago, and still hasent put out.

He insults you, makes you feel like crap, and makes you discouraged.

And you worship his every word, moreso then the admins of the game. It really is no wonder illarion has gone to crap.

Half of you lot couldent roleplay yourselves out of a paper bag, anyways.

oh no, i'm contradicting myself...

oh well

not like i havent done it before

Do you think I Care what you think of me?

I couldent care less.

Infact, I probably could care less.

I know who i am, and we all have oppinions, whether or not their good ones, isent my issues.

I knew I should have stayed in Gathis and never come back
*sigh*

This brings us to a well known issue... Can we trust anyone on the internet? Its really a hard question... why bother continueing this all you lot are gonna do is loose whatever respect you may have.

Martin, nice mouse. Returner, nice room. All of you, be quiet, the entire topic will lead nowhere.

I think you just described how he makes YOU feel. It is apparent that just about everyone doesn't feel this way.

Arkadia struggles within her paper tomb. Time and time again she poked and prodded for a weakness. "The seams....there must be a weakness at the seams" she thought angerly. After hours of effort and mental anguish, she ceased her efforts. It was now apparant that she would be forced to live the rest of her miserable life out in the evil paper bag. "Well..." She said. "At least Im not in Canada"

I just wonder how much worse going through the army is in Austria is than in the USA or Canada. Plus, the US Army gets K-Mart Specials. Well if he didn't hurt your feelings, what did he hurt? Or are you just standing up for all those bad gfx makers (not yourself) out there who can take criticism and don't make threads bashing Martin? Odd, real odd.

We have compulsory military service here. Furthermore, austria is a neutral country, meaning that we only would defend our country in case some bad guys try to overrun it. We are not allowed to participate in any war except for that.
You can think of the rest.

Martin has "put out" lots of new graphics. Since the new client is not finished yet, and the old client won't be updated anymore, none of them have yet been built in.
It's that simple. So no need to blame martin.

Well, I'm getting cranky

Two vacations,

About 5 bans

I still come back

Only to have a SLOW SLOW process, after my characters get "accidently" deleted, or a good RP Storyline put on the back shelf, because who ever is accounting is a little, slow.

Illarion is a mosh pit of hell, of people who act like, well, bluntly, I used to

I dont "Blame" Anyone, and if I do, I blame the whole team, which I Shouldent, The point of this post wasent the slow updates, my own anger, or otherwise, it was my thoughts on the process of the graphics forum. Everyone else made it personal, except martin, whom i must say is quite good at controlling his temper ;)

Grant do you have that list of Returner's skills now.

Fat guy yet 'has 15 blackbelts at diffrent martial arts, plus historian', and didn't archeologist pop up at one point?
Reminds me of 'The Star Wars Kid' from a while back, and wasn't he Canadian? ---//---

On Martins graphic, I think it's pretty funny the way he put his name on the mouse cord :D

The Returner wrote:Martin, if my mappings are so bad, and my weapons so flat (on a render, AFTER deliberatly making them that way) Why did I just make 3000$ while you make nothing at all?

Why do Lightwave and Maya people ask me for light setups? (oh yes, professionals as well)

I'f i'm really so new (after 5yrs of experience) Quite simply, why am I making money for my work, while your working on a free RPG bitching about other peoples'?
That reminds me. Why the hell does the so called "abstract painter" make several random lines in random directions, then successfully sells his crap for thousands of dollars, calling it "art?" Meanwhile, a truly talented, stereotypical starving artist is making beautiful scenes regarding whatever his eyes can capture but doesn't sell the thing for a dime because he's simply a bum?

It USED to be about the creative aspect. Now it's about either new ideas, or the logo (Andy Warhol's dumbass Soup Cans painting anyone?).

In short, talent doesn't come with a sticker price bub. For all we know, this could be something Martin does on his spare time while he's busy as hell persuing something else he enjoys to do in life.

Well, at least it wasn't superliminal, with beautiful, shapely, colorfully realistic saying "I AM MARTIN THE GRAPHICS HOBBYIST, WORSHIP ME!"
