I wasnt getting hit, and If I was getting hit I would have said #me wears metal armor so the attack doesnt hurt.
@Sal you said #me punches a few times and I did do a #me dodges when you punched me and was actually close enough to hit me, the other times you were like 3 steps away from me so doesnt really take effect now does it
@Car It was ment to sound stupid.

You can ask the player of Ark when he tried to punch me I was either steps away or I said I dodged. Now when there is another person around arent you going to make the person who you are fighting sound worse than he actually is? So instead of saying he tried to punch me I took out the tried and the to and said he punched me

The entire time we were dancing around him ina circle...one on each side...He never moved. Regardless if you have full plate mail on..getting kicked once..let alone 30 times....you wont jsut stand there and talk calmly...and bs...five bucks says you logged out because you were asking the Elfess for help and at that point running away.

Ok I've never played with Dair, but Ark is fun to RP with. Shes a little crazy and I'm a little scared. I think shes hit me a few times with such things as
#me hits the hobbit
It's fine by me I either recact by doing a #me quickly jerks his head back avoiding the elf's hand. Or I let her hit me and react by running, fighting back, some other action. It seems the every time a go on I see less Role play. What is this "Attempts" stuff I think Ark is right
#me Attempts to eat an apple
#me attempts to slaps the apple from his hand
#me attempts to say "hey!"
#me Attempts to cover the hobbits mouth
#me Attmepts to duck backward.
Now thats no fun. What if someone DOES slap the apple from your hand, would you not have to attempt to eat the apple allowing people to do something with it.

I read no where in your log file of you "#me dodges" a single bit Dair.Dair Essel wrote:You can ask the player of Ark when he tried to punch me I was either steps away or I said I dodged. Erm, no i did move a few times, but your characters were bad RP, as i kept on warning you, and you should have talked instead of continually attacking me, i would have expected a Orc to not stop and talk, but from a Human & Hobbit, it seemed like bad RP.
And I was asking the lady to do something, because I knew that fighting in town is against the rules, so why don't you get your facts straight you idiot, before you start making false accusations.

You can call people idiots, but it still breaks the rules. Dair's roleplay may be questionable, but it doesn't warrant an attack on who is behind the roleplay.Illarion Home page wrote:3. Insults
All insults directed at the person behind the screen, and not the character, are frowned upon, and will not be tolerated. Neither will all racist and/or sexist remarks.

Your just as bad, so please start calling yourself an idiot along with them, nothing annoys me more then when there is an 8 page topic of people going.
Your roleplay was bad.
No your roleplay was bad, and your idiots
No your roleplay was bad cause your a poopoo head
Your role play was worse.
No your role play was worse than mine.
I'm not going to use the abbriviation.
SHUT THE smile UP all of you, let the GM's decide!
lol, there is a filter. smiles = F-*-C-K before you ask.

Everybody, everybody, calm down!
Roleplay is about common sense.
When I use a #me statement to show action toward another player, I type something like #me swings his fist toward Bobathan's face. And, if he doesn't move in time and I manage to type #me hits Bobathan, THEN it's a hit. Just think of what you would do as if it's real life. It takes time for my fist to hit Bobathan's face.
Not everybody can type fast enough to make the hit successful, but then again, have you ever tried to hit somebody in real life, in the face, and get a clean shot? Chances are he is going to move before you make contact.
And as for the issues on "shadows" by the buildings, there are no "shadows" in the daytime. If there could be a little title up near the RL timer that says Day or Night, then it would be cool for Illarion to have its own day and night time (without changing tons of graphics; just turn your monitor brightness down when it says 'night.'
). Then, at night, people could use shadows to hide around.
But we don't have that feature yet. So please, no building shadows.

Wow, ignorance...Salador wrote:Erm, no i did move a few times, but your characters were bad RP, as i kept on warning you, and you should have talked instead of continually attacking me, i would have expected a Orc to not stop and talk, but from a Human & Hobbit, it seemed like bad RP.

If everyone played their characters as a stereotype, that would be no fun. Besides, there ARE mischevious elves (like wood elves), and hobbits are rather mischevious. They could have been theives, or just drunk. Either way, there are very few types of bad RP...
Also, Kasume, I wonder who doesnt know what they're talking about... Dair #i'ed me this morning without me having to pester him about it. Im guessing thats all you have to do, dont kill him all the time, and dont pester him to #i, and maybe he would. Just a thought...
