"Always standing there, staring...Don't you have any hopes of getting out one day?"
The skeleton does nothing, but Fooser reacts as if the skeleton has spoken.
"Hah, escape plans! I knew you were the smartest of the bunch."
He glances over at the other two skeletons.
"You will lead our escape plan. But we will need more help."
"Yyyyyyyes. Mmmmmmore Hhhhhhhelp. IIIIII Ttttthink IIIIIII Kkkkknow wwwwwwho."
"Ah, I see."
Fooser walks over to one of the skeletons on the ooposite side of the wall and stops in front of a specific one.
"You, do you have the loyalty and courage to make an escape attempt?"
No answer.
"Speak, man."
"IIIIII Ddddddon't tttttthink hhhhhhhhe ccccccan ttttttalk."
The skeleton from the other side remarks.
"Great. My escape crew consists of a dead prisoner attached to a wall, and a mute. What am I to do now? Why am I talking to you anyways? This is madness."
He kicks a bottle over at the one skeleton. There is no reaction in Foosers imagination.
"See, your not really talking, your just a feeble, boney, BARBARIAN."
Fooser quickly retreats back to his dark corner and kneels back onto the floor. A few moments later he jumps up and runs back to the skeleton.
"I didn't mean it! Please help me find a way out!"
He begins shaking the boney figure back and forth, until one of the fingers falls off onto the ground. Fooser looks down at the bone on the floor.
"Now what good are you?"
Fooser imagines he hears something from the skeleton and turns and looks at the other two skeletons hanging from the wall.
"Mutiny you say?"
He gets an angered look in his eye and walks over to one of the other skeletons and stops in front of him again.
"You, you spoke to the guards didn't you? YOU TOLD THEM OUR PLANS! YOU RUINED IT ALL!"
He punches the skeletons bare skull and it hits the wall, then the entire skeleton falls from the wall and onto Fooser, knocking him to the floor. Fooser then wrestles with the skeleton.
"Get off! MUTINY!"
The guards lift their heads from their usual card game hearing the commotion. After listening for a few moments they shake their heads and continue playing.
A while later Fooser gets the skeleton off of him and throws it onto the marble floor. He puts his foot on it and speaks proudly.
"This is what happens to you, if you decide to commit mutiny! Victory is mine today."
He gloats in his victory of defeating the already dead prisoner and then his ears perk up. He hears the sound of swords clashing outside the walls and gets a curious look.
"Fighting? On Prison property? This is an outrage!"
He jumps up on a wooden bench and peers out a tiny crack in the stone wall. He see's a human fighting off some skeletons outside.
"Oh Val, it's just you. Make sure you clean up your trash. Someone has to keep this place clean."
He jumps down from the bench back into the dark cell and walks over to one of the remaining skeletons on the wall.
"It's almost time to sleep, don't make too much noise."
He stares at the skeleton as if expecting an answer.
"Good, as I thought. If you wake me, you will end up like your mutinous friend on the floor. THAT SLIME!"
He kicks the skeleton that is on the floor and quickly huddles himself back into his dark corner. His mind continues to weaken, and his eyesight in the dark improves, but the opposite for his eyesight in the light. And he continues to lay in the dark corner staring out at the motionless skeletons.
