Some Weird Crap

Ok, for starters, I goto grandmothers after school; gets fairly boring. So download some Illarion! Maybe I can have a little fun? No... More fustration. Anyways, here is my problem. I got the game installed and everything, but when I log in it flashed black then back to my desktop, black AGAIN and then back to the desktop. Next thing I know I see two new items on the desktop. One is a folder named Kasume, and one is a thinga ma chig named Illarion.err and when I go to open it, it claims that it cannot be opened by windows.

My question? What in the freakin world is going on.

Forgot to add, the folder holds a blank notepad named Illarion.

The first login does that.
Try again a 2nd time
Then put the client someehrtr in the C drive.

No... I went home.

Anyways, I tried it at least 4 times. Any ideas on what to do? I think I might be missing files from the download.

Looks more like you started the Illarion.exe from the Desktop, which would not work.

Just create a shortcut from the Illarion.exe in the Illarion folder to your desktop and it should work without going everytime to the Illarion folder.

OK! First off, that empty note pad thing is your log files...

Second of all. MAke sure that you have all of the things you downloaded in the same place. For example, all on your desk top, or all in one folder.

You should have 7 different icons. If they are ALL in the same place, then it will work...

Well... did you already check out if the folder or the files are write protected?

@Hermie: Yep. I brought up all my energy to paint it. I´m glad someone does recognize it

Ok it's still not working. Nilo said I should have 7 files in the folder... I only have 5 which are:

images
persons
tiles
gfxeffects
and the Illarion icon.

So...
