english player/GM chat

I was wonder is the site (irc.quakenet.org) for the chat not set up yet? I tried going to the site but it didn't work. I really don't want to miss it so could someone please clear this up for me?

Umm natrually you have to use an irc client to connect.

Ok i installed something called "mIRC" is that the right thing? or what? Now what would i do to get connected with the GM's for the chat?

You start the program and click on File > Options. You set: Irc-Network "All", "Quakenet: Random German Server", fill out the 4 boxes below. Then search "Peform" in the list on the left site (It is in "IRC"). In this field you type "/join #illarion". Now click OK and connect.

Whoa! Ok that must be a different program then. Where do i go download that?

It's the right one. The connection window should show up when you launch the program, or when you go to file -> select server.
There you enter the information given above. Random German Server might be in the list as Random DE Server.

It might not be german server.
It might just be standard server.
