Edwickton's departure

Post by Ezor Edwickton »

Standing on the pier at the harbor, Ezor checks through his bag to see that he has everything. Everything seems to be there. He swing the bag over his shoulder and sighs. This is one trip he does not feel like taking, but it must be done. He looks up to the ship as it's crew prepares for departure, and at two gaurds he would be travelling with. It had been so long sice he last travelled, and inside he knew this trip would not be like the others. He then pulls his cloak tightly around himself as a cold breeze blows off the waters, and turns to his friends to say farewell...

He first turns to athian:
"Farewell Athian. Keep things going with the guild while i'm gone, and don't get in too much trouble. Please keep Irania safe for the time i am away. "
"He smiles slightly then turn to Quinasa:
Take care my friend. Please keep praying for me, and whatever it is i will have to face upon my arrival home. And take care of your sister."
Then lastly turnig to Irania:
He pulls her close to him, kissing her and the forehead as he puts his arms around her. He waits a moment before he begins to speak: "I'm really going to miss you. I will send letters as soon as i arrive. I will not forget you. I will look up to the sky, to the moon, at night, just for that moment that you might be looking at it as well. I love you, and i will return." He looks into her eyes, and forces a smile, unconvicingly, then kisses her once more.
"Farewell," he say to them all as he walks up onto the deck of the ship.

The anchor is raised, and the ship slowely moves away from the peir, as the sails catch the cold winds. Ezor stands out on the ships deck looking back at those he will miss. He continues to look back to the island as the ship sails on and then disapears into the fog, and is gone.
