There is no request for this char.
Maybe it's rejected because of the name?

I think your Name was simply rejected because of the famous novel character "Aramis".
Athos, Portos and D'Artagnan aren't going to play either.

That would of been a good touche apart from the fact that Keikan wrote
because of the famous novel character "Aramis".
The novel character being "Aramis" and the novel "The Three Musketeers" by Alexandre Dumas.

No offense and I don´t want to judge the work of our GM´s neither want I to start a discussion, but don´t you think that it is a bit too strict to reject a name because it is the name of a character in a novel?

A character called Aramis wouldn´t disturb my roleplaying at all, as every other normal name.

Why not call the char Aramis Yoshinoko? With the family name, in my opinion, there would be a clear difference to the hero from the novel.

I think it makes sense, only because you'd have to stop it somewhere. For example, if they allowed this name, what happens if someone comes along and names themselves "Athos" or any of the other names from The Three Musketeers? I would certainly get an out of character chuckle seeing these two together. So what do we do? Reject the second but not the first? Then the second would complain that if he wasn't accepted, why was Aramis? By not accepting the first, it is fair.
