I understand. Still, I do not like the way this was handled. I don't want to see people begging for apple/ignots/flute/pet gamemaster or anything else because they have been playing for X amount of time. "Temporary" and "One-time" arrangements generally have tendency of becoming natural thing.

Exactly! Illarion is about fun! I enjoy a well roleplayed game, but not one so real that I have to spend real amounts of time just to learn a skill so that I can roleplay. I dont want to spend 4 hours running all over the island breaking sickle after sickle looking for some herb because no one will tell you anything. It's a secret. Honestly. THen when I found it I have to go to town look for people (who aren't there because there looking for some other resource) to buy more sickles with money I dont have to spend because I found the herbs but then broke all my sickles. So then I have to mine, I use my shovel find one coal per shovel, then I use my hammer to find some ore, then I try to smith, fail, and break my hammer. What then, I'm screwed. I can sell my pants for 2 gold and buy...Oh wait they don't sell cabbage seeds anymore and there would be no where to plant them! And selling your last pair of pants is horrible roleplay. So what else can I buy? I can't even buy my pair of pants back!

lol, I sold my pants once....thank god for cloaks and non windy days. Ohhh...and I saw yesterday that CAin Freemont was in game....so ha...he is never leaving!!!!!!

This I agree with, people sometimes, well okay .. people often focus a little too hard on the RolePlay and forget the Game. An RPG consists of both

If my words were found insulting to GMs, it is only because they took it that way. I was speaking of how I saw things, therefore I was merely expressing my opinions and reasons for leaving. I can't help it if this game is addicting, I can't help it if there are people I care about that want me to stay. I don't cut good things out of my life. And the friends I've made here are a good thing. That's why I posted my contacts before. I realized though, that it would seem odd and that conversation would probably be a bit droll if it had been that way. Not sure why you blackened out "good", but whatever. I do things as I wish and there's no one that can take that from me. I say things as I feel are true and there is nothing that anyone can do to take that from me.

And the fruit basket was pertaining to a joke about being here for two years, not my leaving. Doesn't anyone read all of what is said anymore? The damn thing isn't even that big of a deal and if everyone is going to be so jealous or condescending about my "special treatment" well then take the damn thing back, I don't care. Sheesh, it was fun until people started complaining about it. There isn't even anything to complain about except the bad RP issue that was brought up. Ugh.
